Good review.
Nicolette is the best CR experience I've had anywhere. She is a little full of herself but she was also generous with her time both before and after the CR. Also generous with her talents inside the CR. Nicolette told me she's one of the girls who's not usually on the stage rotation, but she said it depends on who the DJ is that day.
I had no problem finding 7's and 8's when I was there. There were some 5's and 6's also, but not everyone's tastes run the same as mine.

You actually approved my last review, desertscrub (was for a different club, but still). And just because someone is relatively new to the site and hasn't been to 50 strip clubs in the last year doesn't mean they can't write a worthwhile review.

Either they upped the price, your dancer quoted a little higher than the standard rate, or you were drinking too much. Usually $140 ($40 to the club, $100 to the dancer) per 15 min in the CR.

I've only been to 2 clubs in Austin, but they both wanted ridiculous amounts of money for their VIP rooms. Even if they offered FS guaranteed in there it wouldn't have been worth the money.

I guess it depends on what you're looking for. Portland has a huge number of strip clubs so there are tons of choices. I've only been to a handful of them, so I'm not sure if the overall quality of them is among the best in the country. @SirLapdanceAlot is our resident expert on Portland SC's.

I've occasionally seen drama go down in a club. If I see one of the dancers unjustifiably getting shit on, I'll usually tip her more generously than normal. Maybe some guys who see that would also ask for a private dance even if they hadn't initially intended to.
Maybe your case was just coincidence. Is this something that has happened in the past also?

The only times I went before I got married and for several years after I got married was for bachelor parties. Then I discovered my wife was hooking up with guys on some of her business trips, so I figured I could have some fun too.

I like getting a good buzz going at the club but I don't get shit-faced. If a dancer (or anyone else for that matter) I'm hanging out with doesn't want to drink, I respect that whatever the reason. Regardless of drinking we'll either click or we won't.

Depending on who your customers are, my guess is most guys are just trying to be nice while some are probably hoping you'll go further with a private dance if you're good and tipsy.
I'm with @twentyfive. I'd much rather you tell me you don't want anything or order something non-alcoholic than make me pay for a real drink when you aren't getting a real drink. Most important thing is whether you're pleasant company, now what and how much you drink.

I was at CD through the shift change last week Monday and I thought overall the day shift girls were better looking than the evening shift girls. One of the evening shift girls who caught my attention was Lauren (I'm wondering if she was the first blonde you saw). She sat with me at the bar and chatted for a while and I would have been tempted to take her for a spin in the CR but I'd already had a couple CR sessions that day.

Alex approached me a couple times last week but I declined based on other reviews. She certainly is beautiful and I'm glad you had a good time with her.
