Excellent news! I made my first trip there a couple of weeks before the change and had a blast. Was bummed that it might be going away, or the fun would at least. You never know with new ownership.

HJ is my go to. No fluids from them so my risk is low, it’s usually cheaper and can tempt even generally extra-unfriendly girls in extra-unfriendly establishments into some naughtiness. I will occasionally go for more, but always covered. That’s rare tho as I’m picky and it’s hard to find solid options for that traveling.

Many years ago I was visiting my hometown which has some epic high mileage clubs (if you know what you are doing and have the money for it). I met this new dancer who gave me a very hot lap dance and then took her to place where the magic happened... and the magic happened, and unfortunately popped without either of us realizing it, leading to the risk of some very different magic happening. That alone is bad enough but it struck me how she wasn’t worried when she mentioned it was okay and that she knew I was a good guy and if I said I was clean I was. I made some sort of comment that “that’s a lot of trust for someone you just met” and she seemed confused for a moment and then revealed that she was someone I used to babysit and didn’t realize I didn’t recognize her at all. Thankfully she was less pissed than amused, but yeah, accidentally fucked someone I used to babysit and came in her (a lot). Thankfully she didn’t end up pregnant and neither of us got herpagonariflaids. I don’t think I went to a club for 3 or 4 years after that. I definitely felt... weird.

This sucks. I was finally making it back to the area and was hoping to relieve a fun time at PH with a very Tara Reid looking girl who used to work the motorcycle. Granted that was 10 years ago so chances were slim, but if it’s crackdown season and dying, not likely. I will read some of the other club reviews to see if there’s anything guaranteed awesome around Detroit still (like Follies in Atlanta, A+), but i’m also happy to get suggestions via PM. Will actually be traveling cross country next week so I’m open to Chicago recommendations too. Pretty sure OH is still dead regardless of city. Hope this wave of negativity in Detroit passes soon!

Review update: This place goes and comes in waves... it's SIGNIFICANTLY improved as of last night. There is still a ratchet factor of course but there are a lot of new girls and some are actually pretty attractive and high mileage. Definitely worth a second look. I'll be adding this one back to my rotation, maybe even at the top, for a bit.

I retract my question - previous reviews answered it. Just missed it my first 2 read throughs somehow.

The pants I'm referencing are the Acclivity by the way, at least I think so. That's what is on their website now but I've gotten a few pair from the EB Outlet stores for much less so there's a chance it's a slightly different pant. Paired with a nice set of super thin boxers briefs... excellent experience.

Athletic pants exist that are stretchy, thin and water *resistant*. Meaning they will eventually soak thru (less of a deal if you have undies or leave immediately). Eddie Bauer has a nice set in fact... very thin, a fake zipper looking thing, pockets and an elastic waist band that's generous. With an untucked polo of the right length and some proper shoes it looks very business casual yet still provides instant access if desired. One thing to keep in mind about the baby powder... if you're going to just be getting dances, that's fine and a good idea, however if you think something might be popping out (wrapped or not) that could cause you some issues (esp if not). It used to be epic. Lower mileage usually... but beautiful women, great stages, good environment, etc. It's not even a shadow of it's former self now. I have begun to doubt whether the remodel will ever happen. I pass it occasionally and haven't seen construction people outside in years... but that could just be bad luck. Membership used to be worth it.

Human trafficking is the Satanic Panic of the 80's all over again. Ironically the efforts they are taking are making the problem worse. Just like with prostitution taking down sites like Backpage where they could serve legal process and potentially identify bad actors it's just forcing the same markets to pop up in harder to regulate and harder to detect areas making it less and less likely that they will be able to catch folks doing bad things. Closing strip clubs ends up shifting some demand towards those services as well - making trafficking that much more profitable. Really is silly. Although I strongly discourage anyone from going this route I will say I have seen more streetwalkers on this trip to NOLA than in my past few trips combined. Some hanging out openly near cops. I stopped and talked to one because I was curious as she didn't look the normal type and my suspicion was correct that she used to dance but transitioned to that due to the crackdowns (I didn't ask where she danced but I assumed karma sutra).

I took the bullet. Didn't come across the twins sadly but I did get a horrible air dance. Will post a full review in a bit.

Yes you are. Baltimore brings the heat for strip clubs. It’s shady as heck in places but it’s fun.

Private rooms still have cameras, correct? What about the Hot Tub?

There is some variety, yes. Not like the pre-renovation days though when there was solid variety, tons of dancers and it was easily the nicest most upscale club in town. Now? It's like the entire club was stuffed into the area behind the bar.

I cannot edit the day, sorry about that. I was 95% sure it was a Sunday night but it must have been a Monday or something. Definitely an off night. Maybe a handful of customers and fewer dancers. Not a top tier club but it's the closest to me (though I prefer going to Baltimore). I've been a handful of times over the years but this review is based on my last visit (barely remember the other ones it's been so long). Sorry about the oversight there Sayeh.
