It's Official: Oasis in Philly is now owned by Cheerleaders

I don't mean a bunch of cheerleaders bought Oasis, though that would be interesting...

Please post any changes, good or bad, that you see as this plays out...

Put this discussion in the VIP room to keep out nonsense...in theory at least.

Hope it stays non smoking... I used to smoke and don't mind those who do but since Oasis has been non smoking, you never leave there smelling like an ashtray...

Staff say everyone was told they will be kept on but dancers seem concerned that attendance rules are getting tighter.

Apparently Cheerleaders 'fines' dancers if they are late while Oasis was more forgiving.

While this may be more stressful to the dancers, I think it will prove better for the PLs in the long run.

They also said some Cheerleaders dancers will be dancing at Oasis soon. While I think it could be a plus to get some fresh faces, I really haven't seen any dancers that actually look like they could be real Cheerleaders since Cheerleaders went topless a few years ago. Back then the place had some real cuties... now it's a mixed bag...

If you go there, let us know what you find!

Was there last night (Thursday) - no changes and same girls. Though seems to be some anxiety about what’s coming - my girl said no changes for customers but more rules for girls. New dancers coming but old owner still had not left

the dancer I spoke with on Tuesday (who actually works at both Oasis and Cheerleaders) said that the cheerleaders guys were working on getting office stuff setup first and wouldnt make any customer facing changes for the first month.

That said there was some other guy in the communal couch room the entire time i was trying to get a dance talking to the usually cool dance count monitor. They were so distracting we had to move to the more private area... Same guy was also buzzing around inside the bar....

Not good. Do we think these rules will drop the hammer on VIP? Not as familiar with Cheerleaders but Oasis is an ATF for Philly.

There arent any changes in the VIP rooms. A friend took a chance there last night and he said his pole slider literally whipped it out and went to work almost immediately. He said it was business as usual.

There were a couple of new girls that were there but there weren't any changes from the PL side of things. My girl stated that they have more staff meetings and that they have become more stringent in terms of levying fines on dancers when they either no show or come in late.

I also took a foray into the VIP room for the first time and my chick had no problem offering prayer services. I am corroborating the fact that the rules haven't changed regarding VIP extra performances.
