As the theme of this thread has transitioned to strip clubs just not being as good anymore, I would definitely agree with that. SCs are not much better for the girls than it is for the men. The ratio is skewed to more silly men spending too much money and not enough girls. Hell, if I was a good-looking girl, I would be a stripper, rub myself over the pants on a few guys and walk out with bank. I long for the good ol' days when there were just hotter girls and more of them.

That is well-said funonthaside. As your name suggests, strip clubs should be just that. For fun on the side of life. They should never be the main course of life.

This is an interesting post, and thank you for sharing these feelings with us. I have some thoughts on the matter, including important questions to frame where you are. Some may be Echoes from some of the above points. 1) Are you married? Kids? Friends/social life? Strip clubs have always been a great thing for me, but only because all of the above are a yes. My marriage is okay, but not great (as most, though not all of course). Our sex life isn't great either (again, as most almost-50 year olds who have been married for over 20 years. But I have a great relationship with my kids, i'm an excellent father. And I have good longterm friends. For these reasons, strip clubs are great for me. It's an escape. An escape where I can be someone else for a little bit. I think if I were single, no kids, no good friends - this habit would be depressing for me. 2) What is your inner mental state these days? If you're suffering from a little depression, everything, even hot girls dancing on you may appear a little dimmer. This may need to be addressed. 3) Sometimes I go through phases where my sex drive is a little less than other times. I don't why, it just is. Maybe this is a factor? 4) How old are you? I do wonder if at some age it happens to all of us. I mean being about 50, I'm definitely less into it a little than when I was say 35. Of course the novelty goes down a bit. But also some overall sex drive (testoterone etc) goes down too. I'm no young buck anymore. How will I feel about the hobby when I'm 60? 65? Ultimately, it's been such a great thing in my life. I've loved it. But a part of me wonders. The time and money that went into it over the past couple of decades - if it went into it something else - I wonder what experiences I may have had. Closer relationships with some friends/family? Who knows, but we can't overthing too much. Honestly, overall, no regrets on this habit.

I do have a question about the bike excuse. But where do you leave the bike while you're actually in the strip club. I don't think there any bike racks to lock them up outside most strip clubs.

I feel like some people misunderstood the question asked originally in the post, which is a very good one. The "bike ride" example is a good response, I'll try it sometime. The question, if I were to restate it: If* you needed an excuse whether it were to your family (I would think common) or colleagues or even kids - what are some good excuses. I usually go with the old, I have a meeting after work or have to take some clients or business contacts out for dinner. The latter is actually true, though I conveniently leave out where we go for "dessert." I do wish there was more daytime action. I never understand why not. I'm personally married with kids and I feel less bad visiting SCs in the afternoon or evening/early night. It's not a good look for a Dad to come home late into the night too often. And it makes me feel bad that the reason I was out so late (missing family life, bed time etc) was... well y'all know.

@lurkingdog - actually an excellent point lol. The main reason is that I often have to entertain investors and clients from Europe, Dubai, Asia. These guys here about these clubs through ads or direct marketing targeted towards them. When in Nyc, they think it would be like "beneath them" to leave Manhattan for Queens or NJ. When in Greenwich/Stamford CT area (we work with a lot of firms out there), they want to either stay in the area or maybe take a trip to nyc. So off I go to these places lol!!

This review is a little confusing b/c at some point it shifts to a pre-covid visit? I wasn't clear if the next paragraph went back to the current day. Things changes so much since 2019, those observations are probably not even relevant.

The $400-500 for private room is inaccurate. It is $800+ for a private room at this club - recently increased slightly. I was just there briefly last week. I'm also surprised at this reviewer's depiction of the girls. What I saw was much lower quality than what is being described.

I never understood this concept of being so late, which is common at many clubs. Why? Honestly, there are plenty of high-spending, wealthier men willing to spend money earlier as opposed to later. It's usually harder for me to go so late, having a family/career etc. I'm sure i'm not unique in having that view.

I agree with the politics comments above. Why are we talking about politics exactly on this site? Not a hit to anyone, so don't get defensive, I just don't understand it. On the world wide web, there must be endless political forums of all sorts. I would understand political talks related to strip clubs etc.. Like which leader would be better for liberal rules in strip clubs. Or, say, will inflation problems make strip clubs more expensive or bring in more desparate hot women in need of more money. Etc. NJ clubs have everything from hot Italian girls, beautiful blondes, and sexy latinas. There are plenty of gorgeous Italian women on the other side of the Hudson in NJ! Just don't spoil the girls and turn them into the clubs in NYC and CT, where the girls make a killing. Right now, these girls in NJ don't know their value yet. They will spoil you for a fraction of the price the girls get paid in NYC and CT.

I think this is a great topic and the answer is clear. Strip clubs in the USA are a complete rip-off, tease. In NYC and Stamford/Bridgeport CT, for example, there are like no hot girls and so many idiot American men dropping a crazy amount of money on average looking girls. Here, men compete with each other for a scarcity of girls. Meanwhile, a plane ride away: the complete opposite is happening. Those poor girls, many who are hot as fuck are competing for a scarcity of men willing to spend a fraction of what we in the USA or used to. There are many options: South America, Eastern Europe, Canada, Mexico. The answer is clear: By far, a better time can be had for less money if you leave USA. And by far, the situation is much better for girls here - girls here are spoiled. Nowhere in the world would guys pay $75 for a 12-minute lap dance (three songs). What a tragedy for men in America!
