Lol - this review is funny. Ironically, it actually isn't so inaccurate, but his tone is off-key. I'm about to put a full review based on a few visits to this club.. But, yes $40 for on-floor dances with zero mileage, he's right. But why is he okay with that? This is the problem with NYC - men have lost all hope to say that's okay. In fact, some girls demand a $10 tip, making it $50 for an air dance! VIP is "very pricey." True, try $1250 before tip, for the smallest room! "It's NYC so that's expected." This is the problem. So unfortunate. Men have lost NYC clubs. it's official!

I can't completely argue that the review was slightly incoherent, sorry I didn't proofread it. But if you can read through the grammatical disaster lol this is a very accurate review of FlashDancers and as mentioned a good depiction of several top nyc clubs. The supply/demand in NYC and Fairfield County (Stamford/Bridgeport CT) clubs is obsurdly favorable for dancers and awful for men. There remains an abundance of silly, wealthy men spending a shitload of money on below-average looking women. It's a goldmine for hot girls who would clean house at these clubs (especially the ones in Stamford and Bridgeport CT).

This is in a very important way, an inaccurate depiction of this club. The ridiculousness of this review can be summarized by his own words: "I don't comment on girls looks..." Ha! He should! The girls here absolutely gross - mostly old hags. Yes, they do hustle, but they are disgusting - a few make me literally shiver. I'm sorry for the brutal honesty, but I'm just trying to stick to the mission of this site - to help each other avoid traps and help each other find good times. This place sucks!

@misterorange: that's pretty cool, wish there was something similar now. It kinda sucks that Strip Clubbing is such a necessarily late night hobby.

Just to clarify what I said above about "private dances:" They are $180 each set - meaning for 15 minutes (not each song). But its really not private, and there is still almost no contact. There are cameras focused right on you and a bouncer constantly peaks in the booth.

is Providence really that good?? What clubs are good there? I'll look at the reviews, but sometimes I like this format to get a quick primer.

I apologize, I thought they were talking about the midtown location. I've actually never been to the downtown location, so can't say for sure. But i would be really surprised if its that much better like this review suggests.

Agree, club ad. Flashdancers is a total joke - tourist trap with older, unattractive women and zero mileage.

I have gone to this club several times, and this review is far from accurate. It is either a club ad or the guy is totally clueless. This place is a tourist trap. There is zero mileage and the girls are older and mostly gross, to the point that I may not even take a free LD from them if I was totally sober. The bouncers/hosts suck - they don't let the girls touch you and constantly harass you for a private dance - which is about 900 dollars for 15 minute! And still weak mileage.

Had the same experience here on multiple visits. It doesn't get any better at different times - maybe even worse because it starts getting packed with men spending money on these unattractive girls. Unfortunate for me because I have to travel to this area quite a bit for work! Stamford/Fairfield CT has a real need for more girls bc the demand amongst men is immense. A lot of new money men looking to spend money has moved up here recently from NYC.

Also I noticed a typo in my review that could be misleading. The sentence should read: if I had to compare (Tootsies) to my home base, the LDs are better at Tootsies than NYC or CT but not as good as NJ. In other words if I had to rank LDs from good to worse: NJ (excellent), Tootsies (average), NY/CT (very unsatisfying). For the dancers it's the opposite b/c they can make more money doing less in places like NY/CT and they have too much competition in places like NJ.

Chill guys, I'll accept that. I really was just asking. These threads and topics are actually quite interesting and insightful, just never clicked on any nonclub related ones.

I thought this was a site to review strip clubs and offer one another good advice to have the best experiences at such clubs. I am dedicated to that mission as I feel men like us have to take back control of this game in this country. When compared to Latin America and Eastern Europe, the men here get robbed and I want us to change that. So, on that note, I don't understand threads like this one. Though an interesting topic about which I am quite familiar, why are we talking about this on Tuscl?

This review is nonsense. A club ad for sure and not even a good one. It exposes some of the problems if you read between the lines of the fake positivity. Let me translate for you as I've been here many times: - "I might be overrating it": he definitely is. And he knows anyone who has been there will call him out so he's defending himself beforehand to sound believable. - "they expect you to tip": The girls here demand unreasonable tips. Even the 25 dollar songs are bullshit - they either overcount or demand a tip on top of that. - The part of the girls being hot is a flat-out lie. The girls here are all below-average. Older and broken. It's just that the towns near here are some of the wealthiest in the world and the men around here are clueless. They are content spending money on below-average girls. - "couple of scattered fights going on": say what lol?! This is actually very accurate, but he's okay with that?? That just shows this guy's clueless. It's strange, here you have your ghetto guys who actually do spend money on the stage. And then multiple wealthy corporate-type of guys who spend absurd money in LD rooms and on the floor for nothing.

LOL - is this review for real? this guy sounds like he has never been a strip club. I don't think it's an ad, but the guy is just clueless. Some of the stuff he says is accurate, I've been here several times. But let me translate in more real terms what his is trying to say: - There are usually very few girls and they are all below-average. - The girls are very very money-hungry, and the clientele lets them. The men are wealthy, often finance ("corporate") guys who spend an absurd amount of money on just looking at girls and getting useless dances - almost "air dances." The girls will usually over-count dances or demand a tip - you always end up paying more than you expected for dances. Just pay it, b/c the bouncers will get aggressive on you (not physically ever that I saw, just verbally aggressive I mean). - There are very few "attractive" girls. - Bouncers are a total pain: they hound you during dances and make sure there is almost no contact.

i've had bad experiences in this club - I will add that the girls are all average to below-average to old and gross And I agree with this review - they push you for the $1700 per hour room. I had two friends who are stupid and rich and stupid rich actually do this. They both said it was a waste, they were no better than an average LD and nothing really offered. They just promise stuff to get you back there. And they actually expect a tip. I've done the semi-private for $800 and it sucked - it was a vanilla, boring bunch of LDs. This place preys on tourists and wealthy foreigners who don't know what they can and should be getting for their money. Unfortunate.

Yeah I guess I would say "Early Evening Onwards" as I went at around 5pish and stayed pretty late both nights.

@RockAllNight: Definitely! This time around, I didn't rent a car and just didn't want to pay for the uber up there. In retrospect, quite honestly, it would probably even have been worth it to do uber to New Haven at least (maybe not Hartford b/c that's a bit far for an uber). But, in any case, next time I am in Fairfield County I will definitely do that and report my findings! We, as men, have to put an end to this low-mileage bullshit in our country! The economy is such that it shouldn't be acceptable. We are one of the few countries in the world that would ever tolerate what the women make for what they do at these places in Fairfield County and NYC.
