Should we not take credit/debit cards to a strip club
I'll add one thing after reading Dominic's post. I'm not worried very much about using my credit card at the club, but I would NEVER, under any circumstances, use my debit card at a club. If they overcharge you or try to rip you off on your credit card, you can dispute the charge and not pay the bill. With your debit card, if they screw you, all of the cash immediately comes out of your bank account and you have to fight to get it back. Even if you win the dispute, you have to wait a while to get that money back. It could also cause you to bounce checks, if they drain your account and your mortgage check is in the mail or something like that. So, credit card yes, debit card hell no.

I don't wish badly on anyone. I hope the kid does find whatever happiness and success he's looking for. That said, he was definitely blowing smoke by pretending to be this huge overnight success in the music industry that was touring the country and getting super rich. https://twitter.com/pnemesis24 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3HQfkjTeNZ7svXY13IHXeg He only has like 100 Twitter followers and his hit song on YouTube has about 100 views. Not sure we'll see him at the Grammy's anytime soon. My guess is that he or his manager paid John Legend to appear on that one song of his. I guess "fake it til you make it" is his motto.

I don't know. On the one hand, it's better to be safe than sorry, so it can't hurt. On the other hand, I think it's a bit paranoid. I generally use cash only, but I have used credit cards occasionally. If I use my credit card, I always close out the tab right after the purchase and keep a copy of the receipt. Usually, that's just at the bar for food and drink, but I have pre-paid a VIP before. In all cases, I've gotten both my credit card and the receipt back right away. I feel pretty confident that my credit card company, which I have a longstanding relationship with, with honor my dispute if I ever had one. Also, if I was ever drugged or anything like that, I'd immediately file a police report along with my credit card dispute. I think cash is still the best way to go, but occasionally charging some food and drinks and then closing out the tab right away seems low risk to me.

Leap of faith: into the abyss
I'm currently on day 2. So far, so good! Lol. I'm hoping that if I resist the urge to go to a strip club or fall back into p4p, that I'll motivate myself to look for a girlfriend. We'll see how the first week goes.

At what age should a stripper retire?
Agree with Lone Wolf. I had a late 40's dancer that was in great shape who was really pushy trying to sell dances. She kept approaching me after a few no's. I could see that she had to be really aggressive to compete with the younger dancers.

I would say 35 to 40 is the limit, provided they are still in great shape and look good. However, considering there are a lot of customers in their 60's and older, some of those customers might prefer a dancer closer to their age. So, if a 50 year old dancer still looks good and she can get a handful of regulars, it might be possible for her to still dance 2 or 3 days a week and make steady money.

Family member? So wrong. All wrong and not hot at all. A former student, like in gawker's case is kind of hot though. It would have been hot if she said she always wanted to go to the principal's office, grabbed your hand, and led you to VIP.

Since Larry, Clackport, Missionary, and P-Nemesis are all the same person, does that mean we have to boycott all of them? See here for proof: https://www.tuscl.net/postread.php?PID=47973

https://www.tuscl.net/postread.php?PID=37003 Clackport: August 31, 2015 "Are you more of a making love kind of person, or are you more of the strictly fucking kind of person? I'm definitely more of the making love kind of person. Although sometimes I do like hard fast pounding sex. Thoughts?" Thoughts? Larry, I mean Clackport, you already created this thread verbatim about a year and a half ago. You start so many threads that you forget when you repeat yourself!

Also, the Falcons are young and talented and have a great owner that wants them to win more than anyone. They may not win it next year, but they might. Either way, they'll be good for years to come.

Don't do it Mistah! Stay loyal to your team. Just root for teams that are playing against teams you hate or adopt a 2nd favorite team also, but don't abandon your team. Look how happy Cubs fans were and are, after they finally won. It's worth the wait, the journey, and the struggle.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to start with small goals. One week first. Then, one month. I'll reevaluate after a month, if I can make it. I feel like an alcoholic or a drug addict, trying to take it one day at a time.

JohnSmith: Larry has been picking fights with people from the very beginning. Here: https://www.tuscl.net/postread.php?PID=40282#comment588806 He calls 25 & Papi Chulo dumb and dumber. Larry is incredibly thin skinned. If anybody disagrees with him, criticizes him, or calls him out on his BS, he either puts them on ignore or attacks them. He seems incredibly immature. I know he's young, but his maturity level is on par with someone in high school.

While I was watching the game, I checked the boxscore on the ESPN app at the end of the 3rd quarter. The boxscore at the time said Atlanta had a 99.5% chance of winning the game at that moment. A sports radio show I'm listening to just referenced that same stat. Also, when Julio Jones made that circus catch in the 4th quarter at the 22 yard line, the Falcons should have clinched it. They should have ran 3 times and kicked the field goal, to go up by 11 with under a few minutes to play. I still can't believe the Pats came all the way back and the Falcons blew it. I think Brady deserves all the credit for this win and very little goes to Belichick. Belichick didn't win that game, Brady did. There was no scheming in that 2nd half. It was desperation time. They gave the ball to Tom, said air it out, and hoped for a miracle. He delivered. Seeing the game yesterday made me realize why Jordan is the GOAT in basketball and not LeBron. Brady won that game with receivers like Amendola, Edelman, and rookies. He didn't have Gronk or some superstar receivers on his team. Jordan got it done with the players he had. Lebron tries to recruit every superstar in the league to create an unbeatable team. Lebron is great, but not the competitor that Jordan was.

When Julio Jones made that ridiculous, acrobatic catch on the sidelines, I thought Atlanta had the game in the bag. Big props to Brady and NE for an historic comeback. In the fourth quarter, the Patriots O was on the field constantly and you could see Atlanta's D was gasping for breath at the end. They ran out of steam. Great game.
