Adjusted for inflation, $1M will be worty about $80,000 in 65 years(assuming 4% inflation). Do you really expect under 2% inflation for the next 65 years?

It was obvious sarcasm. You're cherry-picking only black male college students to "prove" some idiotic point. Black support among college students overall is more like 10%

This doesn't belong in the front room.
Support from black, female, college students is 2%. Why did you leave women out of the tally? Because they're not intelligent?
Idiotic thread.

There are plenty of articles now that document this idiotic topic:
"Twitter Removes Claim About CDC And Covid-19 Coronavirus Deaths That Trump Retweeted"

Trump Promotes the Outlandish Claim That COVID-19 Has Killed a 'Minuscule' Number of Americans
https://reason.com/2020/08/30/trump-promotes-the-outlandish-claim-that-covid-19-has-killed-a-minuscule-number-of-americans/
In the NYT, too.
It's not as if Mark93 has *anything* original to say about the topic. It started on QAnon, made it's way to a right-wing rag called "Gateway Pundit" and was retweeted by Trump himself. Twitter removed the post as propaganda and misinformation.
We've known since February that chronic illnesses increase the risk of dying from Covid. There's absolutely nothing new here; just another example of how bullshit and misinformation turns into "news."
Congrats on making a fool of yourself again, @Mark.

This entire thread is based on an QAnon supporter's conspiracy theory which was re-tweeted by Trump:
https://www.wpsdlocal6.com/coronavirus_news/twitter-removes-qanon-supporters-false-claim-about-coronavirus-death-statistics/article_8f73fff6-eb0b-11ea-b338-6b4d42e159e1.html
Twitter removed the false claim. All of you should know by now that @Mark93 lives in a nutty world of conspiracy theories and pseudo-science.

I realize this is a little off-topic, but as I was saying above the real-estate market in the suburbs is getting insane. This story is about New Yorkers where it's even more insane:
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/30/nyregion/nyc-suburbs-housing-demand.html?action=click&module=Top%20Stories&pgtype=Homepage
"New Yorkers Are Fleeing to the Suburbs: ‘The Demand Is Insane’
The pandemic is spurring home sales as prosperous city residents seek more space. One listing had 97 showings and received 24 offers."
"Over three days in late July, a three-bedroom house in East Orange, N.J., was listed for sale for $285,000, had 97 showings, received 24 offers and went under contract for 21 percent over that price.
On Long Island, six people made offers on a $499,000 house in Valley Stream without seeing it in person after it was shown on a Facebook Live video. In the Hudson Valley, a nearly three-acre property with a pool listed for $985,000 received four all-cash bids within a day of having 14 showings.
Since the pandemic began, the suburbs around New York City, from New Jersey to Westchester County to Connecticut to Long Island, have been experiencing enormous demand for homes of all prices, a surge that is unlike any in recent memory, according to officials, real estate agents and residents."

@GammaNu posted the same awful story, spamming about five different threads, with such urgency you'd think he just discovered a cure for cancer.
I don't understand the logic? Google search shows there are about 1200 cases of road-rage every year. Are you trying to say that there's an asymmetry with more blacks murdering whites in raod-rage incidents?
Police officers have an obligation to tread everyone the same, regardless of skin color. Do you have examples of block officers standing on the neck of whites, choking the life out of them? Black officers shooting whites seven times in the back? If so, the thread might make some particle of sense.

Real estate in my area is selling in one day. Mortgage rates are very low, people are correctly spooked by stock P/Es, and the suburbs are more attractive because of the pandemic. If I had more energy I might consider rental properties.

So a 17-yr-old white kid is allowed to roam the streets with an AR15 while people are yelling at the cops that he shot someone. But Blake is the one who takes 7 shots in the back for allegedly being near a knife.
Stories about this kid reinforce stereotypes about guys who fetishize assault weapons. He's on social media posing with his guns and taking backyard target practice. He' bullied by his peers. He's photographed in the front row of Trump rally earlier in the year. Unattractive loser.
Kid should have stayed home, masturbating with his assault rifles. First-degree intentional homicide? That's fine with me

I made it to item (3) in @Dave_Anderson's link. Item (3) states that the overall mortality since the beginning of the year is in the range of a strong inluenza season.
That's false. Do you understand? The worst flu season of the past ten years claimed 61K deaths per year. Most other years are well below that. We've nearly tripled that in Covid deaths in 6 months.

@Founder wrote "Do you honestly think Trump even knew what a plasma infusion was before last week? Hell no. But his advisors ....

In the case of hydroxychloroquine, it was well documented that his advisors were....on Fox News. Hydroxychloroquine was first touted by a quirky MD in France in a small study. It was then passed on to Fox News and touted endlessly by Hannity and Ingraham. Trump watches TV; that's were he gets most of his info.
Fauci said nothing more than to wait for clinical trials; he's been criticized and the object of death threats ever since. At this point Trump's own FDA has revoked the use of Hydroxychloroquine for emergency use. Fauci was correct in urging caution.
Same applies here. Wait for clinical trials and don't assume that transfusions are safe.
