One Word: Ass
I’ve had some satisfactory visits to Emperors since the clubs initially opened this past June, which oddly enough wasn’t the case pre-COVID. So when I get invited to an impromptu dinner with a friend, I generally have no issues going. It’s probably been around 2 or so months since I last stopped by, and this was my first visit there during a weekend night.
We pulled up around 8 PM on a Friday night, and even though the parking lot was decently full, it’s been proven many times that it can be deceiving as most of the cars will belong to the working staff and dancers.
Going inside, the cover charge is $7 per person. They no longer have a big plexiglass hanging over the front desk and they’ve completely negated the mask enforcement. There were a few custies that wore theirs upon entry anyway but took them off as soon as they were seated. Not even the staff were wearing them. I wondered if this was going to happen since Florida officially shifted into Stage 3 in late September. Initially, I thought the room was a little empty for a weekend night but figured it was because shift change was in the middle of going through. They only had one dancer on stage and most of the custies were sitting at the bar, but there was hardly anyone sitting at the tables that surround the stage. I counted maybe 9 or so custies besides myself and my friend and around 8 girls at the time (which increased later through the night). We stayed until 10:30 PM, and the number of custies surprisingly didn’t increase that much, but the number of dancers bumped up to about 15 or so by the time 9 PM hit.
