Rick,
In my experience, people are judged more for the results they produce than for their motives.
You can measure results. Motives are far more difficult to gauge.
Sister John Anthony was a poor teacher. I was not alone in my class for regarding her as a joke.
As for motives, on September 11, 2001 a small group of religious zealots gave their lives for what they believed in. They sincerely believed they were doing the work of Allah.
I judge people by the results of their efforts, not by their motives.

Sorry, Doc, but even though Rick was critical of my post, I don’t think he deserves to be called a douchebag.
Hell, we’re all douchebags here.
After all, this is The Ultimate Strip Club List isn’t it?

I agree that children must be protected at all costs and that the hapless plight of pedophiles is no excuse for minimizing the risk they pose.
My only point here is “there, but for the grace of a god I don’t believe in, go I.”

My point is simple enough.
The good work of some does not immunize others from criticism for their shortcomings.
Sister John Anthony was a poor excuse for an educator. That other nuns made excellent educators does not immunize Sister John Anthony from criticism or even ridicule.
Sister John Anthony may have been miraculous in the bowling alley but her classroom antics were mostly gutter balls.
As for being a piece of meat, we are all pieces of meat.
I’m proud of my piece of meat.
I may not be perfect, but parts of me are excellent.

I’ll have you know that I have more hair on my ass than Phil Spector had on his head on the day of his infamous “wall of hair” court appearance!

Rick,
Some priests are saints. That does not exempt those who are pedophiles from responsibility for the harm they cause.
Likewise, just because some nuns do wonderful work doesn’t excuse the asinine behavior of others.
Sister John Anthony was telling us we were all disgusting deviants because we were noticing how our feminine classmates were blossoming into young women.
As an educator of adolescents she should have been better trained.
Even as a kid, I could see that she was out of her depth and woefully ineffective.
None of us took her rants seriously.
Her rants were a total waste of breath.

Gawker,
“So Sister John Anthony may have been a battle-axe, but they come in all stripes.”
I don’t recall what order of nun Sister John Anthony was but I remember that she looked like a Firestone tire (black with white sidewalls).

ATACdawg,
It’s absurd that a religious woman like her was trying to stand in the way of Almighty God’s Divine Plan.
A more enlightened woman might have simply warned us about the hormonal hurricane we were all in for and encouraged us to speak to our parents, the parish priests or to her about how to deal with the inevitable emotional turmoil.
Instead, she told us we would be dirty and unworthy for even thinking or feeling as our new hormones would soon demand.

I don’t mind them too much but most of them are of minimal interest to me.

I rarely see pool tables in strip clubs in North America.
Pool tables are common in Asian strip clubs or in bars where B-girls congregate looking for boyfriends/tricks.
Watching a scantily clad Asian vamp stretching to make a pool shot is lots of fun (especially when you’re already half drunk).

@Ferdinx,
I never saw the granny pimps again.
It’s been almost ten years since the events I describe took place. I really don’t recall why I never ran into the granny pimps again.
Maybe I checked out of the hotel the next day and flew home. Maybe I stayed several more nights but they just were not there.
The most amazing aspect of the story is that the staff at the Four Seasons Just let them sit in the lobby brazenly pimping young women.
Some senior hotel staff member was probably getting a cut of their profits!

Jakarta - capital of Indonesia;
Indonesia is the 4th most populous nation on Earth (after China, India and the USA).
Don’t feel bad. I suspect our president hasn’t heard of Jakarta either.

I don’t know the names of ANY of the hottest women I’ve ever seen or splooged on or in at any strip clubs.
I find it odd that so many of you remember names of women you saw at a strip club.
I’m not sure I can explain why I find that odd (apart from that I NEVER remember any names).
Maybe I have a tumor.

If she walks away smiling, you spent too much.
That is often my outcome as well.
I’m picky.
I probably only write a review about once for every three or four visits to a SC.
Even if I have a really sticky time, I sometimes don’t write a review because I tend to go back to the same reliable clubs over and over and figure TUSCL readers must already be weary of my repetitive reviews of the same four of five clubs.
But I do include some reviews of disappointing club visits.

I think a lot of our health problems arise from the food oriented American culture.
Eating is a form of recreation for many Americans.
I would know. I was born & raised in the USA.
On my very first international business trip, when I landed back on U.S. soil, walking through an airport terminal lined with fast food restaurants, I was immediately impressed with how incredibly many fat people there were.
I had never really noticed that before.
And I wasn’t returning even from a poverty ridden country where people struggle to get enough to eat.
I was returning from London.

Can’t get my younger brother into a gym. He lives about 1,100 miles away.
Ironically, he is a regional food service manager for a company that owns and operates high end senior living centers across the country. So I’m certainly. he KNOWS a lot more about healthy eating than I ever will.
He likes to look on the bright side.
He says that being overweight and smoking will definitely take years off your life, but the years you lose are the ones at the end and they tend to be pretty shitty anyway.

gSteph,
Sorry to hear about your sister.
I have a younger brother who seems to be perversely proud of being massively overweight.
I don’t give him a hard time about it. He is intelligent and well educated. He knows the risks he is taking.
I just hope he survives his “wake up call.”

Rickdugan,
Maybe I’m odd. Maybe most men don’t behave as I believe they do.
I know I’m not unique in this behavior. Several of my friends confessed to the same selfish behavior.
But then, maybe I just run with a bad crowd.
I must admit, I expected a bunch of you to chime in with a hearty chorus of “me too!”

“Are you just a little bit afraid of being alone???”
I haven’t had to face that prospect (yet).
I behave in the same absurdly possessive way even when losing a wife or a girlfriend would simplify my life and make it less crowded.
