I started visiting my first men's club during my sophomore year. Near the end of the semester, I went on a double date with 2 dancers. I've written about this before. Like seriously, if I wanted to date someone like that, I could just date a guy. She would often wear dresses on stage. And she carried herself like a lady, a naughty lady, but still a lady. She was so gorgeous I could barely look at her, could barely talk to her. Then the drinking age was raised to 21 and I suddenly couldn't go to men's clubs anymore. Like wtf? I'm old enough to go to war and get killed but you won't serve me alcohol? Anyway, by the time I was legal again she was gone. It's dumb of me to think of her as the one that got away, because I was just a boy and she was a woman. It was 10 years before I met another dancer who was as beautiful as she was, but it wasn't the same, and I would trade every date with that other dancer for the chance to go back in time a little older and a little wiser.

i've never heard of this scam, but i guess i've lived a sheltered life. i get the feeling this was done on Ebay, and Ebay tells you very clearly to never make private arrangements with sellers. and yes, back when I used Ebay I sometimes broke that rule, but only rarely and only because i had good reason. this sounds as phony as those Nigerian prince scams that literally everyone has heard about. i really hate to sound like an ass, but based upon this disclosure, i'm really concerned that you would be spending any time in strip clubs at all. $2,000 is chump change compared to what you could lose in a strip club

@poledancer - everything in your OP is just flat out wrong. as i've said repeatedly, management should not be fucking dancers. that also includes management should not be ogling dancers in the dressing room. it's completely unprofessional and counter productive when strip club managers are chasing after dancers instead of managing their clubs. one obvious unwanted consequence i've experienced, is when you have to worry about a manager getting upset because you've taken a certain dancer to VIP. i absolutely do not need that shit in my life. no one does. it's bad for dancers, bad for the customers. and i will and i have call them out on that shit when i see it going on.

i've been pleasantly surprised at the number of people who have made some really good comments here, I want to especially acknowledge rickdugan, for pointing out why it's unlikely these pretty young things would ever be alone for long, and subraman for realizing that their having a bf might actually be a good thing, and like warrenboy says, your spidey sense will often tell you when that's the case just because planning things suddenly becomes complicated and there's no obvious reason why and in response to taxi driver, i don't have the option of hitting it and quitting it. you're forgetting i've known her for a year and a half going on two years now, i also still haven't gotten to the point where i'm willing to pay for OTC, nor do i think it's necessary in this case. i think it's far more likely what will eventually happen is that i'll end up having "really amazing angry passionate esoteric fulfilling" sex with her partly because she's happy with me and partly because she's unhappy with him. but that probably won't be for awhile. like several people have stated, including yourself, i prefer to keep my relationships simple and i don't have any desire to get into the middle of a situation with her and her current boyfriend
