The NFC West has long thrived on defense.
Rodger's extension kinda spending buys a lot of defense...
Seems like everywhere in the league (except GB) there's some kinda QB drama. We'll see who can pull what outa the draft and then start trading. (and I'll bet Goff's itching to get outa Detroit and back at the Rams...)

As shitty as the Seahawks record was last year, there's 6 games in their division and the rest all went to the playoffs.
Packer's got #1 seed and a bye weeks from those 6 games being gimme's. And then they couldn't beat the NFC West's 3rd place (49'ers), at home even!!!

Implementing a no fly zone over Ukraine would involve not only shooting down anything Russia decides is surplus and wants to offer up for target practice...
Also grounding Ukraine aircraft and drones.
And attacking ground based SAM sites in Ukraine and along the border in Belarus and RUSSIA.
Might as well march in with M1's while were at it...

And Parents / Russian wouldn't believe it...
Kinda sad.

The EU, namely Poland, Slovakia and Bulgaria have just donated over 50 Mig 29s to Ukraine.
I mean, I'd volunteer if I knew how to fly one of them...

Well, for my sake, if he does fire them off, he's goes all out with it...
Living within 50 miles of 60% of the stored weapons, and closer than that to a Trident base... It'll be over before I know about it.
I can't imagine he's stupid enough to think he's going to live more than an hour after giving that order. Whether it's followed or not. I can't imagine he's mad enough to not care. But that's a pretty serious question at this point.
It's understandable why he'd think he'd just roll over Ukraine. Last week everyone seemed to think it'd be over hours after rolling across the border. but, what, 4 days later, they still have power, internet, social media, are sending 100's of videos of destroyed Russian vehicles and planes left on youtube... The only thing the Red Army's really managed to capture and hold is Chernobyl...
At this point, he's probably terrified of NATO deciding to enforce a no fly zone, letting Ukraine's army move at will and really fuck them over. And scaring them with nukes is about the only option he has.

Stories being told last night was Russian POWs were claiming they were lied to, did not realize they were invading Ukraine, told they were going to the field for exercises...
Could just be Ukrainian propaganda?
As of 2021, all male citizens aged 18–27 are subject to conscription for 1 year of active duty military service in armed forces.
I'm sure most of them really don't want to be there....

Ukraine and Russia were both part of the Soviet Union 30 years ago.
In some ways, it's kinda like North and South Dakota going to war.... The People of Ukraine and People in Russia, mostly, aren't that interested in killing each other....
But, Ukraine's free. And determined to stay that way.
Russia's military is listed with 900,000 active personnel. About 50% of those ARE CONSCRIPTS.
Ukraine's military is listed with 200,000 active personnel. While Russia has to protect a border with Georgia, Finland, and Kazakhstan.... Ukraine has that entirety of it's personnel within it's borders fighting Russian army.
Ukraine has advertised handing out 18,000 rifles to civilians in Kiev. The former PM is show on the streets carrying a rifle and body armour.
Russia's military has just become proper fucked. They just don't seem to realize it yet. They aren't going to be able to take Kiev. They can maybe just level it, but I have a hard time believing even the Russian army (50% conscripts) really wants to be involved in that... This is the army called to put down protests in the streets during the coup against Gorbachev, they refuse to fire a shot. 40% of Ukrainians speak Russian...
And the flow of arms to Ukraine is only going to increase. Russians, don't really have much of an economy to start replacing arms any more...
Sooner or later, the number of families who's conscripted kids stop calling home are going to be a problem for Putin, he can only silence the news of casualties so long...
Thinking this is about Trump and Biden is really pretty fucking stupid and ridiculous. I mean, really?
And Xi would be smart to take notice of what Ukrainians are willing to do to be free. I can't imagine Taiwanese would do any less, in fact, they have been preparing for such for decades...
