The COVID shutdown was the final straw, smashing American capitalism.
We needed to go to UBI and Public Housing.
But instead Pelosi and Trump took a Weimar approach and used the printing press to prop up the Real Estate and Securities Bubbles.
So this is why we have such inflation. The way to stop it is to take back the money by increased income and wealth taxes on the rich. But the Republican Party is blocking this in the Senate.
So all by himself, Biden can tell the Fed to raise interest rates.
