@Mike710 - the tech outward migration is a real thing. Companies like Facebook, Microsoft and a twitter have announced that they will support full time remote work. With the cost of housing, taxes, and everything else in California combined with nightmarish traffic, it makes no sense to live there if you can avoid it.

A REALISTIC change? Oh hell no. The last Republican Presidential candidate to win California was George HW Bush in 1998. And he only won because he was still riding President Reagan's coattails.
As for gay marriage, the Supreme Court forced that on everyone several years ago.

They are still going to vote for people to the Pro Bowl, and teams will be announced. There just won't be a game.
Again, the major issue here is the expectation for an 18th week of the regular season and compression between the conference championships and the Super Bowls.

Anyway, glancing through the numbers, it looks like most of the polls fall within the probable margin of error of the polls. i would have to read the details to be sure.

Looking at real polls instead of relying on anecdotal evidence from a left wing Enhlish tabloid, Florida will be close. In recent days I have seen polls ranging from Trump +2 to Biden +2.
Remember, thpugh it may feel good to see your side with a plus sign, when the poll margin is below the margin of error, the poll itself says nothing about the state of the electorate.

The reason for the cancellation wasn’t announced, but I think it is obvious.
Positive COVID tests are causing a lot of rescheduling to happen. There is a limit to the amount of rescheduling that you can do when 32 teams play 16 games over a 17 week schedule.
I believe the traditional two week break between the playoffs and the Super Bowl is going to be compressed so that the regular season can be stretched to 18 weeks.

Talking politics isn’t only about influencing opinions, it’s about sharing information.
Take the Voting advice from Joe Biden thread that I started up yesterday for example. Another member here forwarded me the article at the base of the thread via PM.
It wasn’t an attempt to influence me. I guarantee we were already going to vote for the same people at the national level. But what the Gallup poll behind the article says about the state of the country and election is fascinating.
I believe this place is better with open discussion than with restricted discussion.
