Stage Tipping Etiquette/ProtocolIf I see a girl on stage who I like I'll go up and tip her $5 and ask if she can stop by when finished.
Any girl I have seen more than once in a club will usually just stop over, without any tipping involved.
I rarely sit stage side, and would have no problem randomly tipping a few $1's here and there, but guess my only problem with randomly tipping girls you're not interesting in VIP with is them stopping by your table, then somehow politely trying to get the point across that I was just tipping to be nice, but am not really interested.

Saying NoIf I know right off the bat I'm not attracted to her, the line "I'm waiting on someone" works great.
If I find a girl attractive and she sits down, but after talking with her am no longer interest, the line "think I'm going to just hang out a little bit for now; maybe we can talk later" seems to drop the hint that I'm not interest.
Think both approaches are fairly polite ways going about saying "no".

Best pants for the strip club in terms of not feeling chafing and pain.Nothing wrong with being both comfortable and looking nice.
A business look helps a me bit with the PL feel as well - but that's maybe just me.

Best pants for the strip club in terms of not feeling chafing and pain.Black Dockers or dress pants for me. Super comfy, and I get to wear a dress shirt and look well dressed in the process.
Have never really visited a mid-lower level club before so don't know if my apperance would stand out in a bad or negative way or not.

Stripper's ideas of change when paying with $100 bills for lapdancesThe balancing act for me when visiting a club is protecting from what you said vs. having a wallet that is too fat with small bills.
With that in mind, I'll usually visit with something like: 4-5 $100's, 5-10 $20's, 6 $10's, 6 $5's, and 10 $1's
The $100's are for VIP trips, with the $20's for trips that are say $150, $250 - will round up to the nearest $20. The $10's can be used for beers + tip (although have no problem using my card to save cash since the club I visit is a nicer club), and tips to bouncers when entering VIP. The $5 are for stage tips and valet. The $1's for bathroom tips and valet.
Typing all that out makes it seem way more complicated than it is....:-)....but guess I like having a mix of bills to be prepared for whatever.

Tell us about your ultimate sexual fantasyMine is trying to pull off my first OTC experience. I know, lame. Still trying to find the right candidate to ask, get a yes answer, and see how it goes.

Detroit HotelsWas just in Detroit this week. Stayed at a Hyatt in Lavonia which seems like a very safe area. An easy 10 minute drive to Penthouse Club. Room was about $140 a night so maybe a bit more than what the OP was looking to spend, but FWIW for anyone else.

DetroitStayed overnight in Detroit for the first time a few weeks ago after hitting PHC on 8 Mile. Stayed at a Hyatt in a town called Livonia. Seemed like a very nice and safe area, and was an easy drive to get to PHC.

First visitThanks for the review. Just to clarify - There is a downstairs and upstairs to hang out in similar to Flight Club? Of the hangout area is downstairs and VIP upstairs?
Have never been to LS before, but thinking about trying it out my next time up to Detroit.

Maybe the end. Thanks for the update. Was at Coliseum about a month ago and the VIP was closed the first 1.5 hours I was there. Shortly after the VIP opened vice officers showed up. Between different things I am reading and what I experienced, along with the fact of what has happened to all of the other Detroit clubs, think it is safe to conclude the inevitable is getting ready to happen here very shortly with the VIP.

Back for more part 1: FridayNot uncommon at all for a dancer at Flight Club or any of the clubs to say $300. I'll usually counter with $200, $200 + tip, with my high point being $250. Another tactic I have done with success is if I see an incredible looking dancer that I know I want to do a 2 VIP trips with that visit, I'll say $200....but I'm going to be around for a while and would like to go up with you again....so in their minds it becomes $400 total to 2 trips. They seem happy with that, and I'm definitely happy (I get a great looking dancer who comes back to my table, and I get 2 VIP trips from her at my price point for each trip).
The quality of dancer plays a big part too. Have gotten different services for $150 from dancers who had a cute look to me, but overall would not be considered top shelf.

The Changed PenthouseJust got back from Detroit. Drove by Penthouse Wednesday night around 10:00 and Thursday afternoon around 4:00. Both times things look very slow from the outside - circular parking areas by valet about half full and the valet parking lot noticeably not full. Heard a rumor Penthouse was going to be doing away with dayshift. Heard a worse rumor about Coliseum.

Friday afternoonThe valet is safe. I personally would feel safe leaving a laptop in a locked trunk there. If still uneasy there maybe an area inside the club they would hold stuff for you.

Solid visit for a weekday afternoonBooth seating is $20 for anyone. Just tell the bouncer you would like a booth, and in what area, and slip them a $20 when they seat you. And during the daytime there should be plenty of open seating by the bar.

Disappointing Saturday day shift talentBelieve you will pretty much find a consensus that Saturday - dayshift at most any club is going to suck. For as great as Flight Club, Penthouse, and Coliseum are (or in the case of PHC used to be), have been to all three during Saturday dayshift and they were all pretty lousy. That said, one of my Saturday - dayshift visits to Flight Club was able to get well below market prices.

All HypeMy experience lately at Flight Club is the 7:00 reviews are pretty dead - but around 8:00 - 9:00 things pick up significantly with dancers. Also, my last couple of Saturday night visits have been duds as well.

Boyfriends Loss My GainOne thing I've noticed about Flight Club and other Detroit clubs is the nighttime dancers will trickle in well after the 7:00 review. For this reason I give the clubs until at least 8:00 or so before drawing any conclusions on the talent level for the evening.

Hot Dancers, just not very many of them.I have found, at times, there is a dip in dancer volume at the 7:00 shift change. Around 8:00 - 9:00 thing usually pick up.

AA dont goI've seen plenty of black customers at Penthouse and Coliseum head to VIP with dancers. Perhaps the dancers saw you throwing a bunch of $1's at difference dancers, and thought you were just there to hang out/party and not partake in VIP.

So I went to legendsNice review. Loved this line:
"However I am not sure whether to have taken them seriously, since the prices were very high; one was more expensive than then airline ticket I had bought to visit Detroit in the first place."
LOL :-)
When girls throw out an inflated price for something I just come back with my number. They can either take it or leave it, but think they throw out their crazy high number because there are guys who go for it.

Not your typical club - food is great and reasonable, very upscale decorIf you're in Columbus, why head to Cleveland or Dayton to club when just a tad further are Detroit clubs which smokes them all.
