Doesn't read like an add to me either. I looked up their IG and personally I didn't see anything I'd be interested in but to each their own. As long as you found what you were looking for that's all that matters.

I see couples all the time in the Washington Vu clubs. I've seen them in 205 a few times and also at Casa. I've heard Kit Kat gets them as well but I won't go anywhere near downtown Portland

He'll call your review a club add even if you trash the place. With that said the review does kind of read like an add. One thing I try to keep in mind when writing a review is that not everyone has the same taste in clubs. Some guys Like the hottest dancers possible, some like thin dancers, some like thick dancers, some like a good stage show, some like extras in the lap dance room. I always try to include information that will allow others to figure out if the club provides what they're looking for and not just my own personal opinion on the club.

100% agree with this review. All the clubs in Washington have increased their prices while decreasing service level and dancer quality. I don't mind spending money but I want value for my money. I'm not paying a dancer that's 50 pounds overweight $40 for a basic lap dance. These ladies are killing their own business with their greed.

Are you sure you wrote this for the right club? It's nearly impossible to find extras here and they're generally attractive by Washinton standards

As someone who visits this club every time I'm in town I 100% believe this review. I've never been offered a handy here but I also only visit later in the evening.

Extras can be had at night but it's pretty rare at night here. If you're much better off going to one of the non Vu clubs though don't expect them to be as attractive.

If you go to the Vu during the day your wasting your time unless you're going to see a specific girl you know is going to be working. It's a Friday and Saturday night spot. It's the club you go to if you want to see 20+ hot young ladies dancing nude. The quality has been down a bit since Covid but weekend nights it still has the best looking lineup in Washington (not really saying much lol). When I go I usually get a couple dances from whichever young hottie gets my attention and if/when it becomes obvious she's not going to get the job done I'll just cut my losses and stop. If all else fails Aurora Ave is only a few miles to the West and I can relive my blue balls out there.

IMO this club is a waste of time other than Friday and Saturday nights. It's more of a watch the show and maybe get a dance or two before leaving type place. Even on Friday and Saturdays it's not what it used to be. Quality of dances has gone done, prices have gone up, plus cost of living going through the roof and it's just not as fun as it used to be. You'd think when it's slow they'd offer deals to try to get what business there is but nope and I'm not paying $40 A dance without extras unless she looks like Megan Fox in her prime.....and most here are more like a Seattle 6 now

I for one find a review like this plenty useful. When A club regular says A club is no longer worth your time That's means a lot more to me than repeating the same information like dance prices that nearly every other review has.

When ever I see a club with only 1 unattractive dancer working I conveniently forgot my credit card at my last stop and have to go pick it up.
I'm not wasting my time or money but don't want to hurt anyone's feelings either

There's a cover on Friday and Saturday nights only, or at least that's what the sign said on my last visit. I don't remember exactly what it was but it was no more than $5 so not a big deal.

The previous review by Bigfella sounds more like what I've heard about this club. Grant if you are real and not a club add poster check out that review to get a better idea of what the guys here look for in a review so you don't get as many questions. My first review wasn't exactly perfect either.

I've heard really good things about the talent level at this club from a dancer at Lake City DeJa VU up here in Washington. With that said I think Scrub might be right for a change here. First Review and there's zero chance you're getting 30 minutes with any of the ladies here for $100 unless the reviewer ment 3 for $100 and not 30 minutes. Also no mention of a cover which I'm 100% sure this club has a high cover charge by Portland standards being the downtown club with the reputation of having the hottest dancers in downtown

If you ever do decide to partake in the SW outside the club avoid the young thin athletic brunette that hangs out across the street usually a block or two down from the club. She's hot but way to many rules lol. Most of the girls on Aurora have a long list of no's but hers were ridiculous.

Very hit and miss club. There's been times where I've only seen women who looked to be 300+ pounds and I've had days where there were multiple dancers that were my type (young spinners/athletic and natural).
On the positive side even if your not into the talent on any given day the vibe at Shimmers still makes it a okay place to simply drink a beer

My biggest issue with the early shift at small clubs like this is I'm very picky when a dance is runs $40 a pop. If they charged $20 I'd be willing to settle but I'm not paying $40 a song unless she's at least a 9 in my book. Chances of finding a girl that's my type and that hot aren't great when there's only 2-3 dancers on shift.
I'm generally okay leaving a club with blue balls anyway with Aurora Ave only being a few blocks away. Pretty easy to find what your looking for at a reasonable price there.

I've only been to The Playground once but went to the Sands(same club, old name) multiple times. 2-3 dancers is pretty much the norm for this club during day/early evening shift. Weekend nights you can expect anywhere from 6-10 dancers. It's not Asami as most of the clubs in town but typically they're all a 6+ and usually a couple are HOT, it's rare to find unattractive ladies here. The downside to weekend nights though is you usually won't be alone in the Laplace room and the setup leaves you with zero privacy.
