Worth a look...

I've been to the Hawthorne Strip a number of times now, mostly because I know a few people who work there. The dancers are generally of a pretty high caliber -- good looking with plenty of variety in terms of body type and style. There is a definite trend towards more alternative girls with lots of tattoos, but hey, that's Portland. I've never seen less than 5 girls in the club. The stage dances are well done. The dancers here know what they are doing: lots of pole tricks and plenty of up-close attention to anyone sitting at the rack who is spending money. Away from the rack the atmosphere is fairly low-key. The girls will definitely come up and strike up a conversation, with the ultimate goal of soliciting a private dance, but I've never felt that anyone was overly pushy.

Private dances are $100 dollars for 3 songs. Not sure about the single song rate. I've gotten dances with 4 different girls and all of them were definitely worth it. Respectful mutual touch was allowed in all cases, and one dancer encouraged me to touch her everywhere except her pussy. All in all I've felt that my money was well spent: nobody was lazy or rude or just going through the motions. On the contrary, all the dancers went out of their way to make me feel like the center of their universe for the time I paid for. Moreover, all the dancers seem to get along with each other pretty well. I've been to clubs where this is not at all the case and it can make for an uncomfortable atmosphere.

Aside from the dancers the general atmosphere is nice. Well drinks are $5 and generously poured. There is a small vidlot area and a large, enclosed back patio with a taco truck that stays open until closing time.
