It was fine

I walked in around 10:00 PM on a Thursday, only planning on spending 30 minutes there. Cover was $22 including a drink that it took them 20 minutes to offer and by that point I declined. Upon entering I sat down on a small bench near-ish the stage. A girl was cleaning the stage and no girls were talking to me yet so I just awkwardly sat and watched the girl clean the stage. At the end she climbed up one of the poles and did a few moves which was weird because she was way too dressed to be a dancer but I guess she was just practicing or something. Or making sure the pole wasn't too slick from the cleaning? Anyway two girls came by (separately) and made small talk. When it came time to discuss dances I asked what they charge. One said $35 and one said $40. Both times, I was trying to figure out what the mileage would be by saying something like "What does that get me?" Both of them were like, "a dance?" So I went more blunt and just said "will you be naked?" and they both said topless. Then I was trying to figure out what kind of touching was allowed and neither time the girl understood what I was after so I gave up with them and neither was my ideal type anyway.

So apparently I need tips on how to ask what the mileage will be for a dance. Can I just use the word "mileage"?

Finally there was a dancer on stage, one of the ones who had talked to me. Wasn't really trying very hard. Probably because the club was pretty dead. A petite blond came and chatted with me. She was more my type. She said she moves between here and Phoenix (clubs there are way better apparently - Grass is always greener). While we were chatting I commented on how nobody tips when the club is so dead. Soon it became her turn on stage and I said I would tip her. So I sat next to the stage, which is a little weird because the chairs are against the stairs so your legs are way up high. I was tipping her and because it was so dead she kind of just stayed close to me and gave me a dance, which wasn't bad for the $8 I had to tip.
