Might Be My New Playground

After a lackluster visit to Sugar’s the night before I decided to try another spot. I wanted to get another notch on my Seattle SC punch card so I decided on Playground. It’s about a 10-15 minute drive from my place and about the same from work. I decided to go right after work and see what the early evening shift looked like.

Waze got me right to the front door. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but for some reason I thought this place would be bigger. It’s a tiny place, and it’s kinda tricky to get to the parking lot. You have to go through the alley and then come back around. There were only 2 cars in the parking lot. Once inside, I saw nobody at the front door, so I walked right towards the bar (straight ahead when you walk in). I was greeted by a sexy Latina girl behind the bar who seemed to be the manager. She mentioned that only 2 girls were there, but more should show up after 7. I got there at roughly 5:45 or so.

The layout of the club made me somewhat claustrophobic. There’s one stage in the corner of the club, and several small round tables and the mid-back round chairs with rollers on them scattered about all in front of the stage/bar area. The bathroom is probably the cleanest between the other clubs I’ve been to. The club itself was also pretty clean, albeit kinda tight.
