A number of years ago, I had to be able to touch the dancer. If I couldn't feel up her breasts, it was a waste of time and money. Nowadays, I consider it pathetic if I can't get some nipple action. At the right club, I would be pissed if I didn't get to kiss and suck on their nipples. I simply won't extend if this is not available. I'm actually pretty good at choosing the right dancer who will satisfy my desires.

It's not cheating as long as there are no extras. In fact, it can keep men from straying (well, that's what my wife and I both think). She's cool with me getting dances as long as my dick stays in my pants.

in the late 80s, a friend and I visited a sleazy club in Kings Cross, Sydney. I was nervous as all hell and needed a few drinks before entering. Looking back, it was obvious that he had visited before because he seemed to take the whole experience in his stride (well, until the end of the night, anyway). So, he negotiates and pays the entry fee and we enter down a long, red corridor. Man, was this place ever a dive. I was transfixed as we watched the strippers do their stuff. As much of a dive as this was, I was in heaven! After all, I had never seen this shit before. Not long after entering, we realised that all of the girls roaming around (and they were mostly ugly) were hookers. Typically, they would fondle your dick through your pants while propositioning you. I was scared shitless when I saw what was happening. Only one hooker tried it on me. I was too scared to move or say anything as her fingers fondled my dick. She soon left, disgusted at my non response to her advances (well, except for a raging boner). Soon after that, a stripper with a snake came out and my mate high-tailed it out of there. I found it amusing that he was as scared of the snake as I was at the whole experience.

Doug, your advice is music to my ears In fact, it would have been ultra-helpful hearing your advise a few days earlier.
Last week, a friend and I (both of us are happily married but like a little excitement on the side) recently visited our local SC. On the way home we both realized that our private shows had left us with a sweet, fragrant smell that reminded us of our fave dancers. We were not prepared like you so we had to improvise. Solution was to stop at another bar on the way home, but another beer (so far, not a chore at all) and proceed to sprinkle it on our shirts! Next morning, all I heard was, "You smelt like a brewery last night!" At that point, my bullshit plan sprang into action. I told my SO that my friend had spilled his beer all over me (adding liberal doses of, "You know what he's like when he's had a few.") Problem solved.
(BTW, my friend just reversed this story.)
Next time, however?..... (The extra shirt plan may be a goer and the KFC idea not only me laugh but might be worthy of a try too).

In Australia (Well, in Sydney at least) all dances (known locally as private shows) are paid for in advance. The dancer takes you to the payment booth to book you in and then escorts you to the private room (often a curtained off area). There are a couple of reasons for this. First, the club wants to ensure they know how much money the girls are making to guarantee their full percentage. Second, the time with the dancer is regulated by the club manager who actually lets the girl know when the time is up (I've had quite a few dances in my time and I've never been stiffed time-wise - quality is another matter). Third, it guarantees payment. I also actually like knowing that whatever you tip the girl after the dance, is actually 100% hers. Although tipping is not the custom here in Oz, I always, always, always tip a dancer who puts in a little extra effort.

Loved reading your article, Heidi. Most of us on this board only know and understand the scene from the punter's point of view. I agree wholeheartedly with all of your sentiments. I realize that there that there are assholes everywhere but wasn't aware of some of the troubles the dancers encountered. What I am aware of is the dishonesty of some strippers. In a perfect world, they'd all have the same standards/morals as you.
