Had a long-time fave who danced past 50. She had a career job in her 39s sonshe would only dance Saturdays/Sundays. The only chabge she .made later on was to only work weekend day shufts because, as she out it, she fekt creepy dancing for guys. Who were yiung enough to be her son.

One long-time dancer I knew was a home health aid during the day, going to the homes of seniors to help them with personal care tasks. I'm sure a few older gents looked forward to her visits. Another long-time fave was in mortuary school. She had some great stories of things she had to do in her classes but I think her dancing past caught up with her when it was time to land a job.

"Zola" was a movie out last year about two young dancers who get in way over their heads hanging with the wrong people in clubs. It did a pretty job, from my PL perspective, of how in the moment so many of of the ITC & OTC action is in the pursuit of quick big-time cash.
