Nice review.
Bummed to read that your dancer has been subject to some guys going way too far with choking or hitting. All I can figure is that some see behavior like this in porn and falsely assume it’s ok. It is not ok.

This review is a reminder of why I haven’t stepped foot inside this club in 15 years. No matter who owns it, the format never seems to improve

Yes someone should tell dancers that no perfume at all is ideal

I’m a sucker for Christmas decorations - whether hood variety or elaborate. It’s been a minute but have seen some hood places with a single strand of lights dangling across the bar
I was at Foxy’s in Louisville a couple weeks ago. First time visit and didn’t spend much time there but a nice classic bar feel with solid Christmas decorations all over the place

I wouldn’t be surprised if some full on creepers take video for their own enjoyment. No thanks on being in some bootleg porn

I’d hate to have one day at Globe and have it land on voyeur day. Otherwise this place sounds awesome

First comment ever on the site for this guy. Read the reviews for the club.
The place is very tame. Boring dances in a virtually open public area. Almost not a strip club since no stripping occurs.

Flickering
I’ve gotten this several times along the way and perhaps more often a few years back. I travel a lot so never known to the girls. I always interpret this question as a good thing. I think they’re checking boxes in their head about the fun we can have so long as xyz circumstances aren’t in play.

Good to hear. Agree the open air lazy boys made for a surprisingly uncomfortable set up. Haven’t been but will check on a future trip

not the real drew carey, but I play him at strip clubs...
I know someone that previously reported to the slain UHC CEO. This person spoke highly of him and said that he was universally liked and respected. Guessing the shooter thought his target was the CEO of the whole company. In reality, the target was a CEO of one many formidable business units within United Health Group.
The health insurance industry is very low on consumer sentiment scales however the depth of negative commentary following this unfortunate incident will be humbling to leaders in the health insurance industry who perceive things to be significantly better than lows in the 90s when HMO angst peaked.

Hey Ron - I liked Thorobred the most by a pretty decent margin but confident that there is fun to be had at Foxy’s and Rustic Frog as well.

Lap dances are bikini, not topless. At the that’s how it was for me.
Forgot to mention…..a bit of a design flaw with the lap dance benches. They are 3-4 inches higher than typical which doesn’t make for an ideal seating position during a dance. Would love to know who/how they chose that height.

Headed to Louisville this week. I may check it out

Ideally a lot of clubs will remain independent and kind of mom and pop. If the handful of very large chains end up with too much ownership and control fun will be restricted, prices will go up and they’ll eventually die out.

Awesome review Ron. Some major upsides to the much lower volumes of customers at Chicago

Such a turn off when a super hot dancer doesn’t smell fresh. I encounter this more often at clubs like EI.

If I recall correctly Papi Chulo’s lust for the game had waned and he also was trying to focus on his own health and care taking for a family member.

Great review Muddy. This place sounds like one to avoid. Hate the trend where so many girls have made themselves look like Kim Katdashian with fake everything.

The worst offenders of this in my experience are the hood clubs. From days gone by the Pink Slip in East St. Louis. A few others come to mind too
Much more recently T&A Cabaret had their volume up way too high. Kinda unfortunate for the girls who work in that environment every night.

Have you ever tried to stick a silver dollar into a stripper's G-string?
Very expensive drug in the US however. >$1k a month I believe. Novo Nordisk is based in Denmark and makes two of the most popular medicines - Ozempic and Wegovy.
Medicare and Medicaid contemplating coverage - like we need more financial strain on the system.

The GLP-1 medicine is wild too. CMS just stated that >100 million Americans could be candidates for it given our obesity rates.
Separately I’ve bumped into a handful of middle aged women over the past six months who I only see at industry events. They are almost unrecognizable since they’ve lost so much weight on GLP1s in such a short period of time.

Gammanu and Puddy Tat - great points and full agree with you.
I did end up looking autism rates in children too since I wanted to confirm what I perceived as higher incidence. According to the CDC (reliable source I presume or at least as good as any) states that 1 in 36 kids is being born with autism compared to 1 in 150 just twenty years ago. That’s a wild increase over such a short period of time.
Incidence in boys is 4x higher than girls.
