I have seen similar comments before. The dancers ignore couples. Likely, they don't know what your intent is and are hesitant to approach. Maybe they think you want them to go down on your girlfriend and they don't want to do that. Maybe they don't want another woman watching them go down on you. It might be better to be proactive. Have the waitress bring a dancer to you. State your expectations up front. If one isn't willing, the next one might be.

As a nude club in California, BE can't legally serve alcohol. I assume that the drinks you had were soft drinks or water.

I went to this club 25 years ago when I lived in SoCal. This was before any club did lap dances. I recall that the girls were all 7 up. They had a shower show booth available where you could spray dancers with water. One night a dancer used it to actually take a shower. That was one of the best shows I have even seen in a strip club.
