I think Mr. Monger's post is partly tongue-in-cheek and partly observations about the control of the market. I've heard similar things from the ladies. Market prices also have a lot to do with the are. Prices in Vegas, NYC, and parts of Mass. can be very different from spots in Texas, parts of Florida, and Chicago. California varies from Northern to Southern areas. We will always have folks who will spend a lot, girls who demand a lot, and women who are savvy and play a longer game (repeat business) as well as those who adjust to the customer.
