Under Reviewed

I had a bit of a break from TUSCL, but was surprised to see that the last review of this club was over a year ago ... and by me. So I thought I would give it a shout-out, realistically speaking.

I wouldn't call myself a regular to Gentemen's Club, but it is the club I am most regular to - stopping in about every two or three months. I get there enough that some of the staff and I are recognizing each other. Typically, I head in around 8 or 9PM on Saturday nights, after the first couple of beers has my confidence up while it's not so high I can't make the drive to Glendale.

The place is essentially mandatory valet, since street parking is a premium most of the time. Cover is $20, this time of day, and is the one thing that bugs me here. While par for the course for a Saturday night, it usually doesn't cover parking, a non-alcoholic drink - and if you get a VIP, the best they can offer is a half-off cover before 6PM. The interior feels pretty good. They made some upgrades a couple years back after something having to do with a gas leak. Ceilings are high for those on the pole, as well as a hoop to really let the creative ones perform.
