Great article. Might have to look into those pants for next mission. Have been in the field researching this topic. So far found two that i've enjoyed the company of. One sadly i haven't been to see in over a year now and it's been too long.
As you say - it's all about the mutual enjoyment when possible - not just going through the motion.

Everything written by this member is a fact.
I'll second the comments made by PC. Vegas definitely it's the hip-hop where i've seen just a wad being tossed out and walked away from almost every time. St. James in Houston i'm thinking it's really the first option. Funny thing there is they have an air cannon upstairs by the stage. Can't be sure exactly how much goes out - but the hilarious part is it's ALL over the place. I swear the girls must loose about 10-15 - $1 bills because it's on and under tables all around the stage area. Worst part is there - the girls have to get out a big swifter broom and sweep it all up into a big bucket. To me that just cheapens it out. Especially one gal who had about 4-5 shots go off during her 2 song set. The DJ had to get an announcement on that she's gotta clean it all up so other dancers need to help her out. As that all seems to come from the upstairs lounge, i'm sure it's some payback method happening there.
It's a good idea in general, but over used in cases like the top. Then again - at St James you can't touch them to tip - you have to put it on the stage which really kills it.

Let's be honest - something has to change. And sadly what appears to be most is that the lawyers for the public are more prepared than the lawyers for the clubs. WAY too many regulations are being put in place every time we turn around. Take the Latex laws. or in some places they have to wear boy shorts to cover behind. Cam isn't bad, but I'll be honest - the one thing i enjoy is contact. What i'm tired of in ANY establishment - is paying $10 for a mixed drink when i can buy the whole bottle for that price.
Once again - like everything else - greed kills. Owners just want to keep sticking it left and right - i know of one ATF who was tired of the BS at one place so went to another, now my drinks cost a bit more and my time with her more as well, but I'll follow for now if i can stay going there.
Let's be honest - time to drop all the crap and just make the darn stuff legal, and put them out in a restricted street somewhere and a zoning restriction that says places can't build next to THEM instead of the other way around.

Fun time to have is give another dancer a nice tip and give her an amount to bring over to the other gal - tell her if she doesn't come over it's her's to start with for the first dance... I had an ATF that was tied up a bit - and gave one gal $10 just to go over and drop some in her lap to say - someone else is' ready to spend on more than drinks.

Cubavera pants at Macy's haven't been too bad - basically linen - get on sale. Used to always wear shorts, but these are nicer change for dress. That being said i travel a lot and they don't stay wrinkle free easily. Nice part is drawstring waist that you can tuck so no belt and still button pockets to keep stuff your own. Won't go into detail - but thinking liquidlapdance can help out the seeping fluid issue.

Just my 2 cents. I agree with many posts, but i also believe that the mass media has taken somewhat isolated cases and allowed them to be run as "major investigations". And when you dig through it, it's something that politicians love to show it as "they care" and they grandstand and create laws that can't be enforced, or only get enforced for the show factor. I look at the articles every time events like the Super Bowl come out and how the media will spend weeks on 'cracking down' - and in reality it was so minor. Nobody should be forced, but there needs to be a way to actually impact the "bad seeds" instead of hitting the media feel good items. I really agree with TIRED on the last comments about above the law. And i do think if done well, legalizing it might take away some of the bad items.

I'd chime in to say most definitely the Vegas "experience" is all about how much you are going to spend to get little in return. Yes my ATF is there - and i know she will separate me from my money again next time i go - but it's what I'm willing to do. I could probably get about 5-6 around the worlds in Providence for what 2 hours costs me in Vegas.

Sounds like as bad as MASS clubs, no touching there - what a waste. just sit by the stage and throw dollars....

I would have to say - I think you have given this WAY too much thought. LOL. Then again - maybe if these club owners would part with their profits - there could be a lucrative consulting gig for you.. And I'd be the first to consider signing up as an installation review consultant.. LOL

great points. As a very recent visitor I mostly agree. Except for me that late night hour is just a jam packed fest and even if you did find the right gal - it can be a pain to have to wait in line at the VIP area, or be trampling over everyone else to get to a booth. I just experienced the double-team part unfortunately right when I came in the door. and you couldn't be more correct.

Excellent post, this is getting ridiculous what is being thrown at this business. I'll say this much, I have grown to like places where no smoking is allowed, but having it so the dancer is 6' away from me, I might as well stay home and watch HBO.
Yet, what are most of us to do, it's not like we are going to stand up in a public display and show this because right now there are too many of them that see no problem taking photos and deciding they will start attacking you directly.
I hope I don't see the day when my favorites aren't there any longer, but the industry appears to be trying to destruct on it's own. They should all ban together.
