I think that the worlds most skilled publicists and agents are working for Miley Cyrus. Without all the makeup and stuff, that girl has to be the most average and homely looking girl on the planet. But with all the makeup and outfits and hairdos and stuff she actually has a lot of guys thinking she's hot.

Okay, now I can understand guys having different preferences in women. We all do. But come on Art, you can't be serious. I'm not a big Kardashian fan, but she does have a nice body, and with sufficient makeup you have to admit she looks at least pretty.
And as far a Pam Anderson, you wouldn't have to look very far to find a whole list of polls and surveys where guys rate her in their top 10 hottest chicks list. And even if you don't like the bleached blonde barbie doll look, she's got a smoking body with big tits, big hair, nice legs, and she goes out of her way to look sexy.
You can't get it up for them?? Dude, seriously, you need to get on that. Maybe there's some refresher course you can take...Introduction to Hot Women or something. Maybe you and rattdog can find some counseling or something.

And Mel Brooks...
Yeah, IMO his films were very watchable and humorous. But Mel Brooks seemed to write stuff for Mel Brooks, with a lot of inside jokes particular to his Jewish background, which flew over many people's heads. All of his mockery of Germans and Hitler (however well deserved) and inside Yiddish jokes were hilarious if you got them, but fall flat if you don't.
I was a big fan of Gene Wilder, especially in The Producers with Zero Mostel. And IMO Madeline Kahn was one of the very few really funny women in comedy. Not hilarious, but very funny and watchable.

Absolutely true. Jonathan Winters was the master. And I recall he battled some mental issues. But I loved Jonathan. And yeah, a lot of times it would fall flat, but when he hit it was huge.

Not sure I'd use "comic genius" to describe him.
I mean, as a standup he philosophy seemed to be to throw as much off-the-cuff, stream-of-consciousness stuff out there as fast as you can using a funny voice, and sooner or later something would hit. But just as often, IMO, he'd fall flat. But no worry, there was another coming along in a few seconds.
Yeah, he had some funny and silly stuff, but then there was Mork and Mindy.
Anyway, good actor, good comedian.

I've never understood the strip club business cycle. Confuses the heck out of me.
For example, summer time means people go on vacation, college is out, presumably more people have free time. Yeah, some go places for vacation, but also a lot of people travel to YOUR town for vacation...to see family, etc.
So I'd think summertime would be a net INCREASE in club business.
Yeah, some guys aren't at their regular work, so if they club visits are associated with work that business might drop.
I suppose I can understand slow business when the economy is bad, but practically, when the economy is "bad" that only really affects a relatively small segment of the population. Even during the depression there was a huge chunk of the population that was doing fine.
I can understand more dancers working at the end of the month when bills have to be paid. And I suppose I understand the peak in business on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, cuz people are getting off work or something.
When you really think about it, doesn't seem to have much rhyme or reason. To me, at least.
