If the internet connection was slow or might get loading slowness on regular YouTube. With my cox, I "should" have a direct connection via networking with major TJ cable companies via roaming. Has an agreement with all the major ISPs and finds the strongest, at least in Canada. Bypasses going thru the hotel wi-fi. Assuming have so good cell providers that are strong in the Zona area. Then use the cell as a hotspot which gives solid access to laptop.

When? That is a good question. I am starting to plan various trips mostly to Canada -Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and maybe Vashon Island WA, and like to get back to Minneapolis where grew up.- but want to wait until late May when warms up in the North and starts to get too hot here in Phoenix. Have thought of getting up the nerve to venture to TJ earlier (am a bit concerned about safety) but am currently very busy with my business (Registered Investment advisor).
Where have I been?
Have not traveled much in last few year of course related to Covid - but made a trip to Toronto where have friends in Sept 2022 and shorter trips to OR and MT for conferences related to my ham radio hobby. When I travel often 7-10 days I relax a lot in addition to hobby activities.

Thanks for good info. I may want to explore the massage parlor scene and maybe outcall escorts, although haven't researched much on them yet. So Ticuan may be best for that plus a few nights at Cascadas when I want to do HK and sister clubs. Could leave main luggage with extra clothing etc at Ticuan and have just laptop and less to take to Cascadas. I actually pack a full-size Logitech keyboard even for laptop since am so used to it.
Another question relates to Wi-Fi, I never rely at hotel Wi-Fi although sometimes fine in the US. I have Cox extended service for Canada and Mexico - which simply ties into the local ISPs. When I went to more remote places like Colorado mountain cottage also rented a fairly inexpensive hotspot that relies on satellites which provided solid wi-fi in a remote area of Colorado. In order to use Cox I set up my phone as a hotspot so use the laptop and full-size keyboard. I can not type on a smartphone so just use it for mapping/ hotspot or scanning email but always reply via laptop. At home have PC that drives eight large 28" monitors in front of me. I look like mission control at home :)

Phoenix is not like NY or Miami, as I understand it. And this club has almost always bad reviews. At some other clubs dancers often just hang out with each other waiting for regulars. The best club for best looking dancers is often Bourbon Street, but often hard to get approached since few gals work the floor. I don't think its my elderness at 76 but with younger chaps also and have no problem usually at other clubs.
BTW Phoenix has one of the strictest strip club law in the nation. Although hasn't been rigidly enforced for years but have been vice raids pre-pandemic. Under the ordinance crafted from the Family xxxx Christian group dancers could not sit on laps but had to hang on the arms of chairs since body parts can not touch - even if clothed. A hug technically would be illegal. I knew owners that were forced to close for a few weeks or pay a fine for the slightest body contact. I also testified at hearings and was at the packed City Council meeting these new "Christian" rules as well as when swing clubs were outlawed in Phoenix.
The enforcement for maybe the last 5-10 years has been relaxed. One local TV reported on all the undercover cops that would spend nights in clubs drinking and watching for the slightest touch infraction while being paid by taxpayers.
BTW the opposite it seems of the poster, I think the large D breasts are - my pardon to those offended - ugly and a turnoff. The ideal is B but A or C size fine as long as the A's are bigger than mine almost none make breasts!

I note under strip club list by location Sugar and Bourbon Street is listed as in Paradise Valley. That is quite a move. Looks like the TUSCL has changed the format a bit since last here.

Ah Raven. we lust for Raven's floor dances and her honesty and sensuality. Our group of 3-5 pre Covid always and fun with her. Our group but with a few new players is returning again and we look forward to the old times with Raven and some others. Raven has a secret (well not so much) spot she loves caressed, and it is not breasts or anything sexual!

HL has always had pad downs and ID scans at least at night. I have no issues and makes it safer for both the club and customers. Although not common bad things have happened at some clubs in Phoenix.

Did desertscrub's mom suck you dry, too?
I am glad they have somehow Allure with all the strip clubs. This has also been one of my favorite places for decades. Like you I enjoy the sensuality, caressing and like you suggest laying together to start I will have to remember that.
I also read you review from HK in TJ from 2020 and since I am so close vs Toronto (where it is too cold for me in Winter), am trying to get the nerve to go to TJ. Am reading lots on the various TJ forums.
But glad you are another Allure sensual and not looking for more than just the standard which is also my interest Along with Sauga strip clubs and a few escorts.

Thanks BigTim, I look forward to our club explorations when you are in Phoenix, hope you are fully mobile again. Yes, I am a bit too shy approaching dancers although not so in writing long reports! We should keep our "Toonies" more our secret, so maybe we will be remembered for them vs. lots of folks using them.
Hope "Higgs" is doing fine if has his gal friends or sugar babies, maybe we can meet up again with heelover and the nice Latin guy if he is still around. Sometimes I think when we were in a larger group we got more attention....like Raven hanging with us so much which was great!
Take care, and keep warm up there.

The go to the bathroom first is excellent advice. If daytime and sun shining I am almost blind until my eyes adjust at any club. It is also a good way to avoid the "usher" like at Highlighter (I like to find my own sitting place thank you). But an escape to the bathroom (especially here where no darn attendant) just makes sense. Unless your eyes adjust faster than my old ones!

Yes the old days when Ralph owned it, although he was crude and a jerk at times to the dancers it was one of my favorite clubs. He died and a relative took over(male). But I haven't been there for maybe a decade since now just a very expensive ripoff for desperate guys or those that don't know what reasonable rates are.

Lap Dance Cost: $20 is in the highlight for the club. Why have to repeat it? It has been $20 since it opened as it was at the original Loco and Cannon Ball. I said not many dancers I didn't take a count!. Dancers are of all types at most clubs, I don't care about nationality, in fact enjoy African Americans, Eastern Europeans etc. I didn't have a drink and don't do extras so have no idea what prices you're looking for.
I have done hundreds of reviews over decades. I was about two years ahead on credits here pre-covid but now only to early 2023 since couldn't do reviews when clubs closed. I have over 2500 posts on the other big board. And hundreds of reviews of Phoenix clubs with never this kind of pickiness about reviews. I guess its a Canadian thing, although not the case on the other huge board (that includes escorts, MPS and much more.

I also wondered about the tip probably for extras. I have never tipped a dancer (or escort or massage other than basic rates) in many decades of visiting clubs, MPs and companions.
We gave to remember any contact of body parts is technically a violation of Phx ordinance. I was at the hearings and spoke against new rules at City Council. When first passed you could not sit on laps but had to straddle chair arms with legs. Some clubs faced fines or a few weeks' closures for the slightest infraction. Ordinance written by a Christian group and new ordinance (and massage related) passed as an emergency measure (effective immediately not normal 60? days) to protect the citizens from women's breasts and bodies. I also spoke at hearings when they made swing clubs illegal "to protect children and neighborhoods."
Fortunately not been enforced for years but is still on the books. But like Hi-Liter raids of a few years ago when PD has spare time from chasing guys with big guns they go after gals with big breasts.

I wonder if the $20 floor dances are just air? Like many of us this use to be my favorite club and would often come with a group (Hank/Higgs,BigTim etc) and have enjoyed meeting Heellover a few times here. In the many years going here, I have never done VIP but enjoyed the intimate floor dances with good topless contact. Raven and others. Often each year I had to remind the owner (Ryan) who I"ve met a few times to update the expire date on the web coupon. Assume Ryan is still the owner. Another club owner I knew for decades I hear has sold. He managed Show Club on McDowell a few blocks off 16th St and then for many years owned Body Shop before sold to T&A and Eve's Tease (recently sold I understand but haven't been there for like 10 years). I have all my old reviews going back to 2011. Earlier reviews on old computer that didn't keep. Blue Moon also use to be a favorite when loudmouth nasty Ralph owned before he died and brother Robert took over about 2011-2012 era
I keep thinking I should go to various clubs now that the Covid is a bit less risky (but increasing with the latest variant.) But just not that motivated since have no interest in staring at dances on stage or drinking (known for my Diet Coke or Pepsi). I get bored quickly if I don't have an intimate dancer in my lap! Like Bourbon Street VIP dances the most but just don't have the patience to wait so long to be approached. I joke I should wear a "pick me" sign.
I am spoiled by $20 nude full contact no VIP fee is the VIPs or Toronto clubs (actually Mississauga thanks to liberal ex-mayor Hazel who retired at about 90 yrs old a few years ago). No legal issues lots of agency beautiful escort choices for less than $US200/hr. Will return again shortly and worth the travel costs vs what is available and legal issues in Phoenix, and most of the US>

There are some negatives! Especially if you don't know Spanish. As reported many guys stash some money in their shoes thinking if they are shaken down by the police (often in cahoots with a cabbie) they won't find it - but they know the trick. The likelihood of a problem is low, but there is a large risk factor where you have a corrupt police force and in a country, you do not want to piss them off!

Great review for another Diet Coke fan, simply never liked the taste of beer or alcohol. I am age 75 and haven't got the nerve to try yet and want to wait for COVID to be a bit more under control. I usually go to Toronto but waiting for warmer weather and not needing testing, am of course fully vaccinated and boosted.

Thanks for info on Greg. I knew him back from the days he was the manager at the club on Thomas Road (about 18th St or so) when the owner who also had a Westside club was terrible with dancers. Sounds like he took after her, but I always had great relations with him and he still recognized me after so many years. But its been a few years since been there and didn't like it much in the last 5-10 years. I was once invited to a private social and had a good time with the dancers etc. He also owned the club a bit further out on Grand Ave.
The club did have to close for a few weeks after the new anti-touch law in Phoenix where dancers had to straddle chair legs since could not sit on laps. Technically a full-body hug was illegal since breasts can not touch even if fully clothed. Undercovers would sit all night looking for the most minor infraction. This was part of a TV story wondering if waste of taxpayer money.
The law is still on the books but of course not enforced like it was. I even spoke before the city council against the law and also at the same time the law banning swing clubs. But after many hours of arguments between the Church Ladies and the Christian group that helped write the new laws (and helped many other cities after Phoenix) it passed as an emergency measure. The argument was that it was all to "protect children and neighborhoods."
I was on the Club Chameleon legal committee that fought the law but lost at the 9th Circuit. Owners had to either go to jail or shut down. Yet other clubs still exist and the law not enforced against them. I was with a Club C group that met with the Phx chief of police and at least got them to stop running license plates for tickets in the parking lot.
Local TV sent a reporter to the parking lot looking for "children and neighborhoods. " All the saw was the railroad track and nearby industrial plants.

I do not understand the big deal about ID to me it is about safety if someone starts a fight etc you have ID for police. In decades of going to clubs, I have never heard of any issues. When there are busts like the many over the decades, it's the dancers that get busted for illegal touch, etc., I don't recall any charges against any customer and I have followed zillions of court cases and been at trials for escorts etc.
