First Visit...divebar atmosphere, but overall entertaining
Had my fill of clubs around Phoenix (Sugar 44, Bourbon Street, Crazy Girls Cabaret) and decided to go closer to downtown to check this place out. I was in the mood for a seedy place with potentially seedy activity for cheaper than the aforementioned clubs, so figured I would give it a try. This place is definitely outside my comfort zone...i.e I speak maybe 3 words of Spanish, I rarely go anywhere near downtown, and usually look for more of a glitzy/upscale establishment. I read reviews and knew going in that this place has a "dive-bar" vibe, umm its a complete sh*thole and has to be the smallest club in all of metro Phoenix area. I went in expecting it to be bad, the appearance on the inside exceeded my expectations in a negative way. With that said, I overall enjoyed my visit very much so take the appearance with a grain of salt, especially if you are more concerned with the talent of the ladies then you will likely enjoy yourself.
Club Details: Very small establishment. Parking lot has enough spots to probably fill the club, if not overflow the club, and the lot is small. So you don't look like a total putz (like me wandering in the 105 degree afternoon heat blindly looking for the doorway to titties), the front door is directly off 7th street, as you will likely park behind or off to the side of the building. There is also a caged in patio type area where no alcohol is allowed...very interesting as I've not seen any other club with this type of small patio attachment. Anyway, when you walk in the front door there is a scrawny bouncer who will check your ID and pat you down. No cover as it was 1:30PM. Now this place has basically 2 rooms: the bar with about 8 seats (similar size to Sugar 44 bar) and a slender hallway with that outdoor patio exit to your left and then room number 2 at the end of the hallway which is the dance room. Again, as this was my first time I got a little confused as I stepped into the dance room there was a stripper on the pole, then looked around and thought I accidentally stepped into a champagne room (I was wrong, its just the highest mileage floor/table dances I've ever seen), so I turned around and went to the bar. Ordered a soda for $5 plus a $1 tip to the unattractive bartender. It is dim in the club, but has a good mood lighting to it. The dance room has benches along the outskirts with small tables near them, and a few scattered chairs/tables. The size of this whole room (including the stage, the seating, and the VIP) is small, like maybe 18'x20'.
Costs: $10 floor dances (as advertised on the home page) and $20 in the "VIP" (VIP is literally a metal screen directly behind the stage with approximately 5 partitioned booths, it is still within the main dance floor and you can see the pole dancing through the metal screen. There is no bracelet or VIP fee.
