Decent experience but nothing out of the ordinary

I was visiting AZ and decided to stop by the Hi Liter since it seems so popular here. Upon reaching there, I drove to the far back side of the parking lot, parked, and walked to the front. The security guy was friendly and gave me a light pat down and scanned my ID (what's up with that? I don't like my ID being scanned). After that I paid the cover. I don't remember the exact amount but it wasn't bad....probably $10.

The layout has been described here many times, but from my perspective as a first time visitor, the bar was on the right as you enter (I don't remember if that was the only bar). Almost all the low top floor seats were taken, which was fine by me, because I prefer the bar or high tops. I didn't see high tops, so I sat at the bar (was lucky to get an open seat).

There dancers were a diverse crew...white, latina, and black. Dances on the floor are $10 and dances in the VIP section at the back are $25 a song. I found a thick ass cuban dancer and got a few VIP dances from her. The VIP area has several sections of seats separated by walls in between...it's a fairly dark area and semi private. The mileage was decent, although I've had better mileage in other cities. The dancer was actually visiting from Miami, so it seems there are some out of state dancers that come here to work. I didn't see any other dancer that piqued my interest, so I finished my drink and called it a night. All in all it was an ok experience.
