as someone who has a chose between frequenting a rural strip club or not going to one at all, I can't say I have any real experience in what happens in 'big city' clubs. that said, the place I do frequent is inexpensive ($5 to get in) and the ladies are more than willing to set down and chat for as long as you can keep them interested. not to mention the 'near-full-contact' nude lap dances, which can get nearly as got as &quot;extras&quot; at times!<br type="_moz" />

as was said by others, strippers really <i>are</i> just people, and as such, they will do things for their own reasons. I can't tell you one way or the other whether a particular dancer is &quot;into&quot; you, but if she hangs around and acts decently towards you (i.e. not pressuring you for money or to go for a dance), don't just figure she's playing some sort of game. treating her decently in turn doesn't cost a cent and might earn you at least one dancer who will always come by to spend some time with you, which ain't exactly a bad thing, is it? anything beyond that, well, that's where your luck/skill/persistence comes into play, so good luck and keep and open mind.<br type="_moz" />

One of the things I could never figure out about the modern conservative movement is how they can, on the one hand, preach about the 'evils' of having &quot;Big Government&quot; involved in our lives, while on the other hand, screaming for that same government to outlaw prostitution, gay marriage, and/or any other sexual situations that they consider &quot;abnormal&quot;. Jeez, guys, one way or the other, you can't reasonable expect to have <i>both</i>! Thanks for the post and the insight.<br type="_moz" />

rick,<br /> you may be right. for myself, I only hoped to point out that to decide what someone is like because of what they do is rarely a good thing. are some/a lot of them messed up? probably. does that mean they all are? no.<br type="_moz" />

dudester,<br /> well, you can find that sort of individual just about anywhere you look. it's sort of a sad commentary on humanity in general, but there are tons of people who will screw you over if you give them half a chance. the only point I was trying to make is that, maybe, it might be a good idea to go in without <i>any</i> sort of preconceived notions and build up an opinion based on what you find out for any individual. to date, I've never been asked for anything special from the stripper who helped me, and she's had more than a few chances to corner me and remind me of the favor she did me.<br type="_moz" />

I don't know what club(s) you go to, but I've sat down with lots of strippers, and I can't think of one that's tried any sort of 'sob story' on me. some of them aren't too fond of some of the customers (one thing I learned early: treat a stripper like a person and you can get a <i>lot</i> better mileage out of them), but very few really complain about the job very much.<br type="_moz" />

your observation about the women who work at strip/&quot;gentlemen's&quot; clubs is a good one. Not a few of them have the IQ of a house plant, but I have met (with pleasure) several who actually <i>are</i> intelligent people. Guess it just goes to show you that a person isn't their job, they're themselves.<br type="_moz" />

Your ideas are good, but to be completely honest, I've found the ones who give the best &quot;private&quot; dances are the ones who make lots of eye contact with you while they're on stage and you're 'at the rail'. If she'll linger in front of you and more-or-less teases you, that usually means that the performance 'in back' will go up another notch. As with anything, though, YMMV, so check with dealership on freight, tax, license........<br type="_moz" />

dandydan,<br /> I haven't had a chance to get to the Ottawa clubs, someone once recommended Silver Slipper to me, but at an hour or so drive.....a bit much just to check out a tittie bar. Heartbreakers isn't in the best of locations, and the building is only so-so, but the ladies make up for in IMHO. if you go, good luck and check out Hayleigh, she's something else.<br type="_moz" />
