Changes strip clubs need to make, in order to attract affluent gentlemen.
I agree with Rick and SC. The writer is out of step. I don't believe a smoking ban would increase revenue 50%. I am a non smoker and dislike smoking, but it doesn't keep me away from the strip club. I doubt many other guys avoid it, either.

Loud music IS by design. The club would much rather girls just get right to "wanna dance", rather than sitting and talking to customers.

Tats and piercings are the accepted norm now. I like seeing girls with none, of course, but having some ink doesn't make a girl unattractive to me. Unless, of course, she's Michelle Bombshell.

More important than all of what the OP mentioned? WEIGH INS. I have spoken to dancers who worked at high end places(2001 Odyssey, Mons Venus, Penthouse Club), and they were subjected to weekly weigh ins. That's a good idea. Fat strippers are far worse for your business than tats or smoking.

    Strip Club Drink Scams
I can honestly say the ONLY drink issue I have with clubs is the price of dancer's drinks. It's OUTRAGEOUS.

Strip Club intelligence gathering and tips 101
#9 depends on what you're looking for. I enjoy having a dance with a smoking hot perfect woman, even if there's no hope for extras. Playing above my league, and all. LOL!

Etiquette a dancers advice and perspective
You're right, Dudester. This is obviously from Stripperweb. It's also totally removed from the real world. Number 23 is the exact opposite of my experience in clubs. Most of the girls who give me dances encourage two way contact. Nipple sucking, groping, and lots of DFK from some girls.

Plenty of dancers date customers.

So, you want to date a stripper?
I don' t think dallas702's experience is the rule. Well, since he's cheating on his wife with this dancer, maybe dancer is just being practical and getting what she can out of the arrangement. I've dated several dancers and it's been really no different than dating other girls. Well, the sex is outstanding, but the same protocol applies. Dinners are usually(but not always) on me. I don't take them shopping. Gifts are given at birthdays and on holidays.

I think treating them as normally as possible is a different experience for the dancers. They like it.

I do tip well when I visit their club. And I get dances from the girl I'm seeing.

What I learned by going to strip clubs

You're totally right. I tend to be pretty quiet outside of my comfort zones. I'm in the medical field, so I have to be able to talk to patients. I'm good at the gym, because it's a comfortable place for me. Other than that, I'm not sociable. I've gone whole weekends without talking to another human being. Since I've been going to strip clubs, however, I find myself more willing to initiate conversations with people. I flirt with girls, just like I flirt with dancers.

A dancer I know is a really cool girl. Veteran dancer, rock chick, and has really lived life. She's been giving me plenty of good advice about women. And she's a pretty good therapist, actually. So for $40 bucks and some drinks I get to ask advice on improving my social skills. And she's hot. LOL
