You guys are a great help, thanks. @ RonJax2 - I haven't got a London accent at all. I set up the handle when in London one day and to make it obvious I was a Brit, though CJ thinks my handle should be LondonEnglandGuy. I actually have a mild Geordie (pronounced jawdee) accent. It's a long story and won't bore everyone to death. Essentially tough I am still obviously English.

@ RonJax2. Thanks for the tips/advice. I already have the intention of going to FC on the layover from LHR to St Louis and FC and one other on the layover going back to UK. Can you please enlighten me about the 'skip fees' ? Over the years I have read so much about LS and FS so I am really looking forward to it. Feel free to PM me if you wish. I will be staying at one of the bunch of hotels just North of the airport. I will go to one or two STL clubs at most, just for the sake of saying I have been. Warsaw was a bit of a let-down but that was partly due to me procrastinating. @shailynn, not sure to be honest about that one.

I usually wear either smart casual shoes or trainers (sneekers?). Chino (cargo?) trousers (pants) and usually a sports related top like a t shirt or sweatshirt by Adidas, or something smarter if going to a SC etc. Sometimes venture out in shorts when it’s hot, which isn’t often .

@ Ronjax2 - Unfortunately San Diego is a 'little' further than St Louis. However, I have already been thinking about staying over in Detroit for at least one night on the way home. My last day there for work is probably going to be the last Friday in March so I can use the 'visiting friends' excuse. I hope to make it to TJ one day.

The flight from LHR, hotel and car rental cost total was circa $1,000. I’m comfortable driving a LHD car but from what you guys say I think COI may be my best option. I’ll check out the clubs there as much as I can on here but all recommendations are appreciated either here or PM. Thanks for the TJ advice but it may be a bit too far for me. The UK is about the same size as Oregon so I’m used to much shorter journeys. I’m going alone this year so I’ll have a lot more freedom to do what I want when I want. Really looking forward to my trip, love going to your country.
