The abuse has actually been going on for quite some time. The arrest was just this past week. After that, it snowballed.

Up and In
Experiences with 2 entertainers at once
Was talked into it just before Superbowl 2004 (the one with Janet Jackson flashing). Both girls were a disappointment, but later went in a back room with just one of them, and had a great time.

Erarly bird special.
"Officers say the victim described the shooter as a Hispanic male wearing a dark sweatshirt and a bandana." That description is the description of every male in Albuquerque's South Valley, and in the Southeast heights as well (they've migrated).

Australian Escort Service Selling Girl's Virginity
Twice, I've seen young, virginal, attractive females wooed and married by some guy from the middle east. Soon after their virginity was gone, they were discarded. It's a power thing. On a humorous note, that Greg guy on Red Eye mocked terrorists big time, with "I don't know why these guys are obsessed with virgins. I've been with virgins twice. They just lay there and say "OW". Who would want to go through that seventy two times ?

Dallas Texas SC Dress Code...
The upscale Houston clubs do require collared shirts, but I've seen manual laborers go in St. James, after a day in the sun mowing lawns. With that said, Houston is a blue collar town, Dallas is a white collar town. People in Dallas feel that they are superior to Houstonians. Wear a collared shirt.

Not a club I would visit, but still funny!
Swinging Richard is a military euphanism for a worthless type who spends all his time thinking about, or chasing pussy. To the point where he has an unkempt appearance, and he is therefore a detriment to the unit (they will get marked down in inspections). Swinging Richard is also a euphanism for a flaccid penis. Since this is a gay club, it was a poor choice for a name. It's like a heterosexual strip club called fat girls, or ugly cows.

P.L.'s Abound
staxwell, he has lots of enemies here. What he hasn't figured out is that he is as welcome here as a really bad rash. It seems that every board has a basement dwelling flamer like him. They are emotionally detached from their parents and they take out their anger on unsuspecting people at internet forums. It's a cowardly thing for them to do, as hiding at home, they are safe from face to face confrontations. In real life, they wouldn't say hurtful things to someone's face as they would end up in intensive care in a hospital, or a morgue.

P.L.'s Abound
Dougie, I know that taking decades of verbal abuse from your parents taught you to never ever be vulnerable, or to admit to a weakness of any sort, because if they sensed it, not only would they never let you hear the end of it, they would hammer and hammer and hammer you on it until you're reduced to a shaking crying mess. What firefighters refer to as "find a scab and pick on it until it bleeds", but understand this Doug, you pour out a tremendous amount of unprovoked abuse (see above). In no way did I provoke or insult you, and yet, you hurled unprovoked abuse at me. Karma is a harsh mistress Doug. I'm sorry your life is so very fucked up, but continuing to dish out unprovoked abuse, you're taunting karma, and one day, when you least expect it and need it, karma will hammer you.

Sober Monday Reflections: Should Drunk Guys Have to Pay Their Stripper Bills?
To those who don't live in border states, or deal with the carnage/side effects of illegal immigration-Texans complain about the number of drunk illegal drivers, but it's because of something most Americans don't know about. Our legal system, at it's roots, is based on common law from England. A few precedents from there, and the rest-of course from our own legal system, having been around a little over 200 years. There is a legal precedent, somewhere from Spanish law, that anything you do while drunk, diminishes your culpability. Therefore, if you drink, drive, and crash your car, it's olly olly oxen free-you're free to go, you did nothing wrong. This concept is embraced throughout Mexico, and in parts of the United States, where Mexicans are a majority of the population (parts of New Mexico, along the Texas border, etc.). Also, keep in mind that Mexico still embraces old world ideas-the MAN is always right. In case of any problems, see rule number one first. So, even though our civilization is two hundred years younger than Mexico, we somehow are more advanced, and that includes personal responsibility-get drunk, and you must face the consequences.

FREEZING IN ALASKA/CLUBS PLEASE
A couple of TV series that featured Alaska went out of it's way to include locals. One example included a woman who was the town hooker (small town). She was a 7, at best.

Her personal boudaries extended, then....gone!
I've seen it happen. Little cutie was the only one not handing out extras in a club where everyone was selling extras. Saw her months later at a nude club where she provided access to all points of entry. She then moved on.

Another example of nothing good happens after 2 A.M.
1) It was an attempted robbery, meaning that one or two pukes will get life in prison (people in that part of the country are too squeamish about the death penalty-no matter how horrific the crime). 2) No doubt some enterprising reporter will make it their mission in life to shut down the place. 3) That reporter will get help from various sources.

Regulated Club Owner Balks at Paying ‘Adult' BMI Fees
Thanks deogol. Could be why Hollywood has personally gone to the artist involved, and asking them permission for the song, cutting out the middleman. Just proof that when you ask for help from an organization that can do damage, you should carefully consider your options. A radio host I like compares a government program to the Frankenstein monster laying on the table. "On paper, it's a good idea, but once it gets up and starts breaking things, you realize that you screwed up."

Taiwan Approves Red-Light Districts
There is good and bad here. The sex worker would have to travel to reach a red light district. The Police Official harassing her would tell her, "Move to ____, you can work there", but that means uprooting and leaving her family. On the other hand, if a deep pockets investor sets up what is basically a palace to prostitution on one of those outlying islands, he would create something that might be copied elsewhere.

The US Constitution provided copyright protection (1789). Early 21st Century, a group of musicians/songwriters complained because when their songs were played on the radio, they were paid 1/3 of a penny everytime the song was played. Soon, a law was passed and the rates for song play went up, way up. I believe that the amount per song is 1.5 cents. That's not the worst part. The cost of including a song in a movie went up, way up. I've been trying to get a movie made. Because of this new deal, the cost went from just over 3 million to ten million. The movie has four songs (critical to the plot). Try this on for size. If a TV series plays a song from an ASCAP artist, the cost is 15,000.00 per use.

Judge to neighbors: Strip club can expand
Neighbors upset over NIMBY, but judge realizes that clubs pay alcohol taxes, employ waitresses, bartenders, cooks, dishwashers (who all pay taxes), and single young mothers who put, at least, some of their tips back into the community.
