FLF: GOOD CALL! "we're actually focusing on YOUNGER women......."
😁With their blushing, innocent looks they got away with a remark that us older, experienced guys couldn't get away with.
I just upped their sociopath scores, they deserve more than just a badge for that performance.

It's good to know that despite our despair over the coming generation that we'll still have a ready supply of sociopaths.

*their system of governance is built on lies and repression and when in a pinch they just do what's natural to preserve that status quo.*
Isn't that what American gov't does too, Pentagon papers, wikileaks-snowden etc.

londonguy, I think because there's an unofficial tradition that when America is 'under threat' both major parties are supposed to rally round the flag AND president, suppressing partisanship. By declaring himself a wartime president he's trying to capture that spirit to deflect the unrelenting blowback directed at his actual accomplishments or lack thereof.

😁 Dashing and suave but not white [too easily stained] then underwear covered by 19th c lab coat to be incinerated after 'finishing his work'
I'm really curious about this: "...dissecting table for the removal of parts that held for him a special fascination."
Seriously, FLF, some of these guys are / were 'wicked' smart just zero empathy and conscience.

I prefer 'small town' vs big city or big city suburb.
Close to where I live now -- I'd choose Lawrence Kansas. Just under 100k, twice the size when I lived their. Despite spreading out south and west from the downtown the original central rectangle containing the business district and most of KU is still bounded by same four main streets as when I lived their decades ago.
For KS it's a very pleasant location on the Kansas river with nearby lakes and parks. College and professional sports [KCMO ~ 30 miles east]. KU also provides or attracts musical, artistic and cultural activities. Good mix of restaurants and unique shops. Where I live now is mostly franchise eateries😩
I'd love to live in one of a few small towns I've visited in Colorado but like Shadow I need to be near good medical care. Still, love the idea of being in an area where driving a few miles takes through changing altitudes and beautiful scenery.

Papi - I regularly have trouble with sinusitis that sometimes becomes bronchitis in bad years. In those years I've been put on antibiotics. Most of the time one course of antibiotics does it; twice, though it required a second 10-day dose of an antibiotic. A friend also has this and calls it her 'annual bronchitis'. In both our cases we've suffered a persistent, mostly non-productive hacking cough for weeks after intervention. Both of us are older than U.
Sounds like you're recovering but if you get sinus or lung congestion then follow up is probably warranted. Just my personal experience; once I waited too long to see the doc again after initial treatment didn't fully cure it. Second tx provided 80% relief in 10 - 14 days but it took *five months* to be completely free of occasional sore throat and coughing spells.
Before your ENT's office closes maybe call them to see if they've made any provision for f/u when office is closed. Just saw my doc for semiannual visit. Told me their practice has set up telephone screening; if caller might have rona they're directed to a separate office in the same building for further triage and tx.
Just my 2 cents

didn't 'cause' it just exacerbated what already existed by enforced closeness. Some level of physical and emotional distance is how many relationships survive.

Cash - seriously, WHO's right - social distancing was, like many, memes half-baked.
Physical distancing from others is more accurate; 'social distancing' produces isolates like Mr. Chloroform, the FRAMOS kid.

😁 Depending on how you view Graham it could be a compliment.
BTW, Props for effective use of projection; seeing your own melodramatic style in others bur not in yourself.
'Back of the head' phenomenon - several members see you as melodramatic, you don't; they see the 'back of your head' more clearly than you can w/o mirrors and cameras - that is w/o self insight.
Nothing unique to you; we all do this.

Well fuck, last week I bought a cheap [ $1.49 ] handheld calculator at Walmart. Yep, Made In China stamped on the back.
Now I've become obsessed with unscrewing the back off to see if there are any little rona's inside.

dugan is TUSCL's version of Lindsey Graham. Not the content but the melodramatic style of expression and the shift from smooth charmer to kranky bitch.

😁 SC, I said it before, and I say it again now: the older you get the weirder your 'preoccupations' become.
I've learned NOT to automatically click on your links 😁
Hope Atlanta shutdown lifts, you need to get outta the house more.

There's an added concern with using these devices. Your insurance company now has additional location linked information about you, your driving habits IN ADDITION TO biographical, financial and perhaps medical info.
What if your company's information system was hacked and that information combined was ' scraped' and combined with other hacked data connected to you by a malicious actor? What if this malicious actors tried to monetize that info?
