This thread isn't a note to the founder. It is a circle jerk! David9999 needs desperately for the regulars here to bwelieve he is the man. The regulars rip him. No one should care. But I do have to ask why you didn't send an email to the founder? Do you need this attention that badly?

MisterGuy,
I think CarolinaWanderer must have wandered into a lamp post as a child. The resulting brain injury shows in his posts here at TUSCL. It is obvious that on the rare occasion he reads through a thread before offering his childish opinions he dosen't understand the subject. Just leave him in his football helmet to wander around the internet generating bad will for morons everywhere.

Q: Who the fuck cares? Why can't some of you let the man go about his business?

Hard to believe but I’m not ripping on this post because of its author. The following stands on its own merits as one of the most moronic and derogatory posts I’ve read here. Though it is short this little gem of Shadowcat wisdom is charged with hate.
“Last month After a nice BBBJ from her we got into a discussion about butt fucking. Jenna Haze had been the featured dancer the week before. I remarked that she was one of my favorite porn queens until she she got into butt fucking. She remarked that she had only done it twice with her boyfriend. Just to please him and was glad that he didn't push it because she did not really engoy it. She always sticks her pussy in my face to kiss but never her ass. Isn't that really for fagots any way?â€
I’ll make the assumption that this misspelled conversation took place with one of your regular dancers. The fact that you do not find anal sex arousing is no big deal. I’m sure many people don’t. But then again you do protest too much. Why do you continue to dwell on it? This is a recurring theme for you. I suspect all this big talk about all the paid for sex in and out of the club is a big smoke screen. You are a closeted homosexual. You must fantasize day and night about gagging on one dude’s cock while another is packing your fudge. It’s OK. This is 2009 not 1950. People of all sexual orientations are tolerated.
This is probably why your marriage failed. If only you could have got her to use a strap-on on you. You’d be sore but still married. Anyway, don’t be ashamed of who you are. Get yourself a rainbow t-shirt and be proud.

Everyone have a good 4th.
The best way to be patriotic is to effect change in your own back yard first then spiral outward with it.
Maybe we could change this topic to "Zerzan gets his ass handed to him."

slip a dollar in her g-string for me
Zerzan,
Under most circumstances I would not even bother to reply to a post like this. But I have grown tired of the attitude you display here. Your world view has all the complexity of a punk-assed college kid with no real life experience to offer up. It is time for you to evolve and I am going to give you a little food for thought to help you along.
Zerzan: “I am so proud of being an American - and knowing that I live in the only country in the history of the world to have dropped a nuclear bomb on a civilan population - twice. Unnecessarily.â€
Parodyman-->: The necessity of the use of atomic weapons in Japan is debatable. What exactly have you done to prevent another tragedy like this from happening again? Other than childish sarcasm on a strip club website what are you going to do today to promote awareness on the dangers of these weapons?
Zerzan: “I also feel blessed knowing that our forefathers had the foresight to break with England and adopt black slavery as the economic engine of the colonies -- maintaining that peculiar institution longer than any other western civilization. Now that is leadership for you!â€
Parodyman-->: Are you proposing we should have remained colonies under the rule of the British Crown? Does that sound remotely realistic to you? As far as slavery goes, yes we have built a great deal of this country on the backs of slave labor. Not just African, but Chinese and European as well. Today a large part of our economy’s foundation is based on how little unskilled labor can be paid. The way we treat the poor speaks volumes about us as a nation. And let’s not forget everyone’s favorite workers, illegal immigrants. I doubt you or any of your friends are lining up to fill the positions that are typically filled by undocumented workers. So Zerzan I’d like to hear your solution to the problem and what you have done to reform labor here in the USA?
Zerzan: “We are SUCH a good people. Oh, it brings tears to my eyes, knowing how much better and smarter we are than the rest of the world. After all, if we hadn't invaded Iraq, then who would?â€
Parodyman-->: I would submit that the average US citizen is a good person. I think the issues that you have brought up are created by the privileged few that hold most of the power. Personally I feel the Invasion of Iraq is an immoral power play by a President who is more interested in serving his wealthy friends than the public as a whole. That said, I do vote. I distribute information. I use my time to work on things that will help bring the soldiers home as well as make their tour of duty better. I support them 100%. The blame lies with the President not the military community. Now tell me what have you done?
Zerzan: “Yes, show me a more civilized people amongst all the Western nations! My God, they've all abolished the death penalty long ago. Whereas we, like Iran and other fundamentalist states, are decent enough to embrace the necessity of capital punishment.â€
Parodyman-->: Capital punishment has its place. What I find troubling is a justice system that continually sends innocent men to death row. The number of people who are or were on death row and found innocent is obscene. One mistake in this arena is one too many. Again, I offer an opinion because I am an activist in these things. What are you doing to end the killing?
Zerzan: “Yes, I love this country. And I show it every day by wearing a flag pin on my lapel. It saves me from the effort of having to think for myself.â€
Parodyman-->: I detest the Archie bunker flag waving slobs as much as I detest people like you. You are both equally adept at getting up on a soap box and mindlessly bitching about the issues. Here is the thing that pisses me off, neither of you offer any solutions. Never mind actual physical involvement to better the situation, you leave that to someone else so your time is free to run your mouth. And as far as thinking for yourself, you spout tired rhetoric. I haven't seen an original thought in anything you wrote.

Shekitout,
In reference to "small man", I was talking about his mental capacity. Why do you choose to relate my comment, which was not directed to you, to Bobbyl's physical size? You must spend a great deal of your free time thinking of him to defend him so agressively. Perhaps you are repressing some feelings that make you uncomfortable?

arbeeguy,
Here is a shining example of what I mean by one of the herd.
Bobbyl (who I have never even spoken to) writes: "That's another of parody's bad traits. He knows exactly whose ass he has to kiss and is willing to do it. Then he acts like the big tough guy to others. He's truly a gutless little POS."
My response to him: Bobbyl you are a small man with a small intellect and are of no consequence to me. I have no need to defend what I write to the likes of you. If you can muster up some intelligence maybe I will speak to you. Otherwise PLEASE make use of the ignore feature. You obviously lack the social skills to handle a dissenting opinion. After someone explains what this means to you, put me on ignore and go away.

jablake brings up an interesting point. "Suicides accounted for 55 percent of the nation's nearly 31,000 firearm deaths in 2005, the most recent year for which statistics are available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention."
I wonder how many suicides there were in total for 2005? Of the ones who chose to use a firearm, how many would have found another way if that firearm were unavailable? I suspect most of them would. Suicide is about ending "pain" not the method. You don't see people clammoring to ban rope or perscription drugs.

david120: "When I was kid, if two 16-year old gang bangers got into a fight, they went home with a bloody nose, a black eye, and a maybe a bruised ego.â€
Then they weren't "gang bangers." In order to be "bangin'" one must possess something that goes bang.
But in all seriousness I do get your point. The escalation in violence is attributable to a lot of factors. I don't think the ease of illegal firearms purchase helps, but this has nothing to do with legally owned weapons. There are already laws on the books for this stuff. How about enforcing the existing laws instead of legislating all of my rights out of existence?

What does intelligence, or lack thereof, have to do with a person's stance on a particular political or moral issue? Hear me out - I am not taking sides - but intelligence does not have anything to do with a person's support of gun control, immigration, abortion, gay marriage, the War in Iraq, or any other hot button issue one can name. I understand what you were saying to Book Guy, but I'll assume it was just a poor choice of words. An intelligent person can still disagree with me on one of these issues."
My Answer: You are right. Poor choice of words. What bothered me about Book Guy's post was my belief that his world view was more like mine. I have nothing but respect for Book Guy and meant no offence. I was speaking to him as I would if we were face to face.

I bet a lot of you are expecting me to crucify the old man, bobbyl, and carolinawanderer. I'm not. I'll just let their idiocy stand on it's own.
This thread was obviously started with the intention of provoking a certain response. Sorry to disappoint you.

arbeeguy,
what I meant, and yes it was smart assed, was that he merely posted an article with no editorializing of his own. No question was posed to spur discussion other than his "clever" topic.
Q: What's in a name?
A: A name is composed of letters of the alphabet.
I don't know what the point of this was other than Shadowcat making himself feel superior by making fun of an individual who wanted to change his name. The fact that he was making what most people would consider a foolish choice is unimportant.
Perhaps Shadowcat as well as the rest of us might also consider that people who point out the fact that our freedoms are erroding are true patriots and performing a service for the rest of us. When censorship becomes common practice you will be able to kiss TUSCL goodbye. Plenty of god fearing flag waving Americans would object to the content of this site.

Book Guy,
I must say that I am surprised and a little disturbed by your answer. You strike me as one of the more open minded and intelligent people on this forum. Yet your answers seem to follow some kind of liberal party line. Not to say I believe in conservative values either. I find the truth of most issues lies somewhere in-between.
Inner city crime that involves firearms almost universally uses weapons that were not legally obtained. By licensing or otherwise restricting the law abiding citizen’s access to legal firearms the government removes that person’s ability to protect himself. Not to mention curtailing the sporting aspects of firearm ownership.
Helping the police? You are missing the point. The police are there to help you. That is what they are paid for. Unfortunately due to the nature of their job they WILL NOT be present when you most need them. Have you ever called the police in an emergency? A good response time is minutes. A violent confrontation takes seconds. In most instances they arrive too late and can only call someone else to clean up the carnage. Some neighborhoods they take their time responding because they do not wish to endanger themselves. Safety and security are personal responsibilities not the job of a municipal agency.
Also I take offense at the implication that I am less civil or sociable because I choose to arm myself. I take no pleasure in the thought that I may at some point have to defend myself or a loved one and injure or kill another human being. That gristly situation is not something I look forward to. But I’m also not going to apologize for being prepared to deal with that type of situation. The priority I put on the safety of my family and myself is miles above the value I put on the life of a violent criminal. Sorry, I wish I could be a better person but I’m not.
Being prepared has nothing to do with an every man for himself competitive compulsion. It is just the reality of the situation. It is not a John Wayne attitude or an Archie Bunker “good American†attitude on my part and I resent being pigeon holed by your ignorance.

Look dumb fuck, the only apparent question here is what you filled in for the topic. “Whats in a name?†You do know that “what’s†should have an apostrophe in it don’t you? Also that particular phrase as written is a sentence fragment.
But to answer your stupid question... The alphabet, letters mother fucker, that’s what is in a name!
