@Subra - Tucson is usually about 5-10 degrees cooler than Phoenix in summer. However, the biggest difference I see is that Tucson cools down more at night. Phoenix has a huge heat island effect with all those roads and buildings radiating heat all night long. In the summer it routinely stays near 100 in Phoenix until 10pm or later. Tucson also has a more active summer monsoon given it is a bit closer to the Gulf of Mexico, which brings moisture north in late summer. If you live in northwest Tucson, like Dove Mountain or Marana, you can get to the southern edge of the Phoenix metro area in little more than an hour. However, there is a section of I-10 south of Phoenix that still only has two lanes in each direction, and sometimes it just loads up with traffic volume and slows to a crawl or even stops completely. Rush hour traffic in the Phoenix core can be ridiculous, not like LA ridiculous, but highly annoying, which is no fun when it’s 115 degrees at 5:30pm.

Interesting to hear so many comments about AZ. I’ve lived in Tucson for more than 50 years, and am retired here. I travel to Phoenix regularly to see family and monger, but I don’t know if I can live there. Agree about Prescott and Prescott Valley being very nice, but pretty pricey now. Tucson has good food, good cycling, decent music, OK clubs, and is surrounded by mountain ranges that are over 9K in elevation. Those features continue to trump Phoenix in my book. Phoenix pros = multiple pro sports and much better air service!

Floor dances at Curves are supposed to be $10m but a growing number of dancers now try to charge $15 per. I’ve not run into anyone trying to get $20 per song, but I’ve only been in during dayshift. If a dancer doesn’t tell me in advance that she expects more than $10 per song, I tell her to get a manager, which stops them in their tracks. VIP is also confusing since the club says dances are $25 and there are signs posted to that effect, but most dancers now expect to get $30 per song, with the excuse that they now have a larger house fee to cover. In my humble opinion, if the OP paid $140 for three songs in the back, they got ripped off. That same money buys 7 songs at Bourbon in Phoenix, with perhaps less mileage, but much hotter women! Curves is probably they best Tucson has to offer for the combination of talent and mileage, with lots of variation therein.

Thanks for the review, but i have a couple of comments. 6pm is purgatory at most clubs, dayshift leaving, night girls not in yet, so the lack of dancers was predictable. Also, what you are referring to as the “lap dance area” sounds like those love seats along the wall on each side of the main stage. Almost nobody ever gets dances there, and I think they should only be $10. I used to like sitting in those because they are comfy, but a long time night shift dancer advised me to stop sitting there because dancers hate giving dances there. The much more common choice are the VIP booths along the back wall behind stage 2, which are $20/song. I have never seen that area monitored by “blackshirts” or anyone else, the dancers are pretty self-policing on mileage, some allow more than others. The club has been a bit slow lately, even during prime time day and night shift times, hopefully it picks up soon. However, the remaining dancer crew are mostly exceptionally hot, very friendly, and fun to be with if you can enjoy yourself without getting a blowjob in the club.

The varying dance prices drive me nuts. The club hired extra staff during COVID rules to police VIP and increased the house cut by $5/song. The extra staff are long gone but the club kept their higher per dance charge, so most dancers pass along the cost, hence $30 VIP charges. However, I always pay only $10 for floor dances with no complaints, although they are usually warmups for VIP. I’ve never had anyone ask for $35/song in VIP. That would stop me in my tracks. There are some nice dayshift dancers at Curves. The aforementioned Monica for sure, Laura is an older and thicker Latina but is very affectionate. Mosha or Marsha is a huge titted Asian, fun in VIP. There are some very cute dancers that rotate between Curves and Raiders, and even commute to Bourbon in Phoenix occasionally.

I was looking at the club's website (see main club page for link), and was surprised that they have posted a ton of dancer photos. I think the dancers pictured are from both Curves and their sister club in Tucson - Raider's Reef. Clearly many of you have spent a lot of time thinking about this, and there are some great recommendations. I have only one to add - BETTER MUSIC! I would hire real DJs with much broader musical knowledge and taste, and strongly encourage the dancers to find songs that match their personality and dance style, and then build on that. Install a killer sound system, avoid smothering the building in overcharged bass, and play a variety of rock, hip hop, R&B, blues, never repeat a song the same shift. If a stage set is really good, it should serve as an advertisement from the dancer for those watching to want to get dances from her.

Agreed Meat, that would be a cool matchup. My concern about the Cats is that any given player can and has gone completely cold at any given moment. I’ve seen Mathuron, Koloko, Krisa, and Tubelis all have very shitty games. I just they can weather the storm for awhile longer!

Thanks for the comment Joker44. As far as I know, VIP dances are $25ea, but most dancers probably charge $30, just like at Curves. They have longer time rooms, but I don’t know the cost. Sorry for leaving that out of the review!

I was at Bourbon yesterday (Thursday), and it had one of the lightest daytime dancer rotations I've seen, maybe six dancers. Jordan of course was there, but no Jersey, no Taylor or Olivia, no Kat, Mia, or Shay. The other dancers working were cute, just not my faves. Kylie looked very cute, but I had to take off before getting any dances from her. I was just getting warmed up with Jordan when she had to go back on stage. Hope things pick up soon.

Speaking of Mustang at S44 in Phoenix, I think she's about 55, not 65. She has a steady stream of senior guys that come in just to see her, which is why she dances only by appointment now. Even at that age, her body is incredible, with tits that many younger women would love to have. She also has game, making every customer feel like the most important person in her world while dancing for him, and she has a slow sensual grind that has been perfected from years of experience. She is a Phoenix legend for sure, and brings a lot of guys to that club.

The dancer descriptions are spot on, future BSC customers, take heed, these are pearls of wisdom! I can say that the club does get more talent late, like after 10:30, especially towards the end of the week. Play nice!

FYI, any club that serves alcohol in AZ is not nude, despite what Marsha told you. I don’t get the claim that Curves is less expensive than Phoenix clubs, almost like a club ad! The $15 floor dances and $30 CR dance prices at Curves are among the highest in the state! HL in Phoenix still has $10 floor dances with $25 in VIP. Bourbon has $20 VIP dances all day and night with playmate quality women. Having said that, Curves does have the best looking dancers in Tucson, but their continued inflated dance prices still pisses me off.
