What is the vip privacy situation at Tootsies?
My wife is not a fan of the communal bench/couch seating in many vip dance areas. She prefers something more private where she’s not sitting between a couple of horny dudes like myself.
Would love to find a club in the Miami area with some real vip privacy … maybe even with a curtain or a door? Anything like that in town?
Maybe it's a terminology problem, "VIP" is very ambiguous. It can be used to refer to club memberships, regular or high dollar clientele, reserved seating areas aka sections or booths, even sometimes lap dances are called VIP. In any case, pretty much every south Florida strip club offers private dance areas with curtains. One or two places might have actual doors, but the curtains should suffice most purposes anyway. They all also mostly have shared areas too. I'd suggest specifically saying you want a Champagne Room or Private Room if you're looking for something private and not just a lap dance on a shared bench.
I don't know what sort of activities your wife is interested in or if you're expecting to share in the experience. You should know that the expectation in rooms around here is generally full service. If she really just wants a private dance and not a full on lesbian experience I'd suggest telling the dancer she just wants a dance and no sex. You may be able to save a few bucks if you agree up front to lesser intimacy. And, not all dancers are comfortable going all the way with girls or couples; they might be willing to do a room if its just a dance or just for her though.
Like Meshuggah said, Tootsies specifically absolutely has private rooms available. The ones upstairs are larger but a bit more expensive, I think $150/30 mins if memory serves but don't quote me on that The girls are gonna want probably around 500 for just her and more if you want to be in there with them too. Tootsies prices are on the higher end of the spectrum, as it's pretty touristy.
Most of the clubs in Miami offer something similar. Cheetah Hallendale is one place that stands out as not offering them, as a result of a raid/lawsuit probably a dozen years ago. But even they've got an area that offers more privacy than the shared row of seats typically used for lap dances. I think its a $3-4-100 + tip situation, I'd check recent reviews for more details if you're interested.
If Tootsies prices are more than you're looking to spend. Diamond Dolls in Pompano has fairly private $25/song lap dance rooms with curtains, they're cramped little booths with two individual seats separated from each other by a reasonable divider and separated from the main floor with a full length, fairly thick curtain. At slower times, there is often only one couple in the room. That's probably the highest bang for your buck privacy wise. They also have a similar room with just one seat, ie not shared with another couple. Those will run ya 200-250 ish for 3 songs. There's no way you're getting 3 people in those though. Goldfinger in Sunrise has little cubicles for $25/song that have a sheer little curtain you can pull closed for an extra $10/song. Scarlett's I think also has areas that are more private than the typical bench seats for $35/song, but I'd say it's less private than Diamond Dolls.
Cheetah in Pompano has private rooms, the $75/15 minute rooms are too small 3 people, but the $150/30 minute rooms should accommodate all 3. Again in Pompano Booby Trap has a $50/15 minute room offering that can fit the three of you. The girls at Cheetah will ask for $300 but take $250, the girls at Booby Trap will ask for 200-250 but generally take 150-200. Again, the girls prices are for just one person, I'd expect a significant up charge for a couple.
