For all the regulars in South Florida clubs, wondering how you guys evaluate the risks of STDs in high extra clubs like Toosie's? Even when constantly wearing protections, the risks won't be completely gone. Have there been any known cases of people getting STDs from strip clubs?
I'm not sure what you are asking. Do you understand the biology of STI transmission and the limitations of various protections (e.g., condoms, pre and post exposure medications)? Use Google or any search engine to find helpful educational material.
At the risk of stating the obvious, people get STIs from exposure to the micro organisms (viruses and bacteria) that cause STIs, typically through sexual contact and possibly with a stripper and possibly through sex in a strip club. With the exception of abstinence (and who wants that!), there is no fool proof protection against every STI. But condoms and other practices (e.g., selecting a partner who is not infected.... but this is not easily accomplished in some settings, such as a strip club) can reduce but not completely eliminate STI risk.
If you are really asking if anyone has ever contracted an STI from having sex with a stripper at Tootsies (or any other club), I can't comment because I've never been to Tootsies.
