STD risks in South Florida clubs
Deltadetroit
For all the regulars in South Florida clubs, wondering how you guys evaluate the risks of STDs in high extra clubs like Toosie's? Even when constantly wearing protections, the risks won't be completely gone. Have there been any known cases of people getting STDs from strip clubs?

At the risk of stating the obvious, people get STIs from exposure to the micro organisms (viruses and bacteria) that cause STIs, typically through sexual contact and possibly with a stripper and possibly through sex in a strip club. With the exception of abstinence (and who wants that!), there is no fool proof protection against every STI. But condoms and other practices (e.g., selecting a partner who is not infected.... but this is not easily accomplished in some settings, such as a strip club) can reduce but not completely eliminate STI risk.
If you are really asking if anyone has ever contracted an STI from having sex with a stripper at Tootsies (or any other club), I can't comment because I've never been to Tootsies.
Statistically speaking, I’m sure it’s happened, but no one would ever admit to it, so I don’t know how you’d ever get good data. Back in 2021, I think I caught COVID from a stripper, but I can’t be sure of it.
South Florida strippers use condoms 100% of the time, and they seem to be meticulous about their hygiene and “preparation” of themselves and their customers with hand sanitizer and baby wipes. But who knows how effective these measures are at preventing the transmission of STDs? My guess is it helps, but these girls are fucking and sucking anyone with a few hundred bucks on a nightly basis. So who really knows. We’re probably all at risk.
You should have told your “niece’s civvie roommate”
Pics and Vids or it didn’t happen.
:D
Accurately quantifying the risk is an entirely different matter altogether. Reliable data on the matter is probably hard to come by. Neither the customer nor the stripper can likely narrow down their sexual encounters to a single individual during the potential infection periods. Neither are likely to admit to the encounter to anyone keeping records.
I've been lucky enough to avoid any sexually transmitted infections, and I'm good but not meticulous about taking precautions. I have certainly acquired some stripper transmitted infections though. I'm pretty sure I got COVID from a stripper and its highly likely I spread it to another stripper a week or so later while I was still asymptomatic. I'm not just wildly speculating there, we all talked and while its certainly not conclusive the timings lined up and other vectors are much less likely. I've had a handful of bouts with cold and flue that almost certainly came from strippers too. Chances are fairly good I passed along a couple of those myself too, although I do 100% avoid the strip club when I notice I've got any of that stuff.
I don't know if the response above is sarcasm that I fail to recognize, but south Florida strippers are not nearly the sticklers about condoms you seem to think they are. Especially not with regular customers. See the same girl more than twice, and there is a 50-50 shot she stops worrying about the condom. The odds continue to drop the more you see them. Given the number of pregnancies I see, I'm gonna say they're probably going raw with boyfriends and hot and/or rich guys here on vacation with regularity too.
