Are any of y’all watching NFL championship games today

Who do y’all like?
I like Kansas City and San Francisco. Because Mahomes is a winner and the 49ers are just too good but Detroit has a better storyline, if Detroit was playing at home I’d say they would’ve got the nod, but they aren’t.

Cheering for the Ravens and the Lions, and (hopefully) for the Lions in the Superbowl.

The Lions have never been this close to a Superbowl. Everybody in the Detroit area is excited.

Never been a fan of either the Chiefs or Ravens - but the last thing I ever want to see is the Taylor Swift non-sense that will take place during Super Bowl week if the Chiefs win

I've been KC/SF all week. No matter how they look in the regular season, Mahomes and the Chiefs always find their gear in the playoffs. I also heard this morning how this ref crew is very biased towards away teams. I love the Detroit story but SF is just too good.

You know I'm watching. And you know which NFC (West) team I want to go to the Superbowl. Rooting for the Ravens to represent the AFC but the Chiefs look pretty strong so far at halftime.

Good game so far, hoping the Chiefs hold on and beat the older, better Browns.
Although that Taylor swift shit got old long ago.
I like the 49ers except when they play Cleveland but it would be fun to see the Lions make it.
I can relate to having your team never make a super bowl although the Browns lost 3 AFC championship games in a row, ugh.

Here we are at the half. Things can change but at this point it looks like the Lions are better prepared and just want it more.

    Detroit came to fucking play.

If Detroit finishes this out, we'll have the David/Goliath storyline, the scrappy upstart Lions vs the dynastic Chiefs.

Maybe Taylor Swift contributes to this, but this year's Chiefs are the first time I've heard so much hate for a team since the peak TB12 Patriots.

"Maybe Taylor Swift contributes to this, but this year's Chiefs are the first time I've heard so much hate for a team since the peak TB12 Patriots."

Chiefs have won 4 out of the last 5 AFC championships. That alone is one reason they are getting some hate.

Mahomes is the drama-free "golden child" model NFL player. He's an amazing QB but damn it has gotten old.

Kelce is kind of seen as a big pharma shill, I think. He's a great player and so will be hated for this reason also.

Time Person of the Year Taylor Swift keeps getting more wealth and fame. She's an amazing musician and performer, and getting even bigger as an artist. People were already tired of her. Now it's just gotten crazy.

So it's like the trifecta of Mahomes, Kelce, Swift... the media adoration, money, fame, all thrown into one, just induces vomiting from overexposure at some point. Just my hypothesis.

@5footguy, you're not wrong. All of that combined.

Disregard what I said a few posts ago. Detroit is shitting the bed. Losing contain on Purdy, catchable passes and INTs hitting them in the chest and face, losing the battle at the line. Did they take an Ambien at halftime? They sure look like it.

^Sad - but 49ers we’re the better team - it took to the 2nd half to figure it out

Dan Cambell lost the game for the Lions, he should be ashamed.

Screw his analytics ride'em cowboy style.

Momentum is among the most important aspects of a football game. If you played any high school sports, you understand how important Momentum is to a player and a team.

Once the 9'ers wrestled away momentum in the 2nd half. Campbell fed them more mo', never breaking the tide of Mo'.

ask yourself how 9 additional points would have been to the Lions (3 failed attempts on 4th down) in Q4? to momentum? to his team?

    Awful coaching.

Unfortunately the Lions aren't there yet.

My choice to win the big game is the Chiefs , they don't get rattled when things get tough, they put their game face on and execute.. San Fran is pretty steady too, but K.C. is going to win this year.

All those comments while the Chiefs were struggling during the regular season about Mahomes, Reid and Kelce losing their focus and doing too many commercials and Taylor Swift are pretty funny now. Ravens were the best team in the league all year. They destroyed the lions, 49ers, dolphins and Texans. Chiefs made them look silly and mahomes, kelce and Reid were at the center of it.

A lot of people are already calling for the firing of Lions coach Dan. Campbell because he passed up two field goals.

He’s been aggressive all year but it was poor decision making because you have to gauge how the momentum could change

correction to above 3 FG's, not 2, but 3 field goals (the longest being 48 yards)

I feel absolutely terrible for Lions fans. I like rooting for the underdog and I especially like rooting for teams that have never won it before. Considering that for decades, Lions fans have suffered, suffered, and suffered some more, seeing Lucy pull the football away from Charlie Brown yesterday has to be painful beyond belief.
