I’ve started to see a series of stripper interviews show up on YouTube, and they are generally very frank and entertaining.

Wow, you’re not kidding about this NOT being a pick-me-up kinda channel! I took a look at the Chanel video list, and there are a ton of interviews with fentanyl addicts, meth addicts, street workers, and others struggling with life. The stripper interviews are mostly interesting because of my connection as a strip club junkie, but there’s a lot of stuff to wade through.
There's some interviews on that channel that give good insight on pimps and "boyfriends" too. How manipulative and abusive they are. Shows their real side rather than the embellished version by TUSCL's resident cosplay pimp.

Some interesting stuff on Soft White Underbelly. I became aware when the interviewer/photographer was on Joe Rogan. He interviews a lot of people from the seedy side. Most are a lot more interesting than this chick.
I like the interviews. He always asks them about how they grew up. Most the time it’s not the old trope that they were abused as children and that’s how they ended up how they are.
Although that’s sometimes the case, many say they were raised in a normal household and they chose the life they’re leading. I like the honesty and the affirmation of Free Will.
I listen to this stuff at work, face to face, every day and have for 40 years. I would caution anyone against believing anything in these interviews as they are what the interviewee wants to project, not necessarily a true story.

Good channel, everyone should watch some of this but goddamn not every stripper was some beaten child. Sometimes people want make some money because they’re super comfortable with their sexuality.

I didn't watch these, but yeah we should all know that strippers are rarely honest. I reckon though they would be honest about their shitty men. Most strippers and ex strippers I've known have terrible boyfriends/husbands. It is what it is.

"Soft White Underbelly" provides good and interesting interviews with different types of people (aside from strippers), but it's not where you go for a pick-me-up on a bad day.
