There were some posts on stripperweb in the past that definitely were written by a dude before—who likely wanted to feel defiant at the whole “No guys allowed on this discussion board even though everybody can read this” (heck, I remember one dancer posted in the more customer-centric r/stripclubs before and chastised somebody because he had read r/stripper posts) I get it, that collective attitude is practically troll catnip.

here’s how i view TUSCL - the more they complain about how expensive everything is, and the more dissatisfied they seem to be with a club, the better the club is (most likely) from a dancers perspective.
it takes a very specific type of man to contribute to forums about strip clubs. and that type of man isn’t really the one spending big money. most of those guys just want a BJ for $50 and will bitch and moan about anything. they don’t get attention in their normal lives, that’s why they’re obsessed with strip clubs and getting the most for the least amount of money.

If it's me, it's not that I'm obsessed with the r/stripper thread. It's that I'm obsessed with Reddit as a whole actually. A couple years back TUSCL was my favorite site for entertainment. Now Reddit has taken that spot, and that's because there's a lot of discussion for every topic under the sun. I think my feed there has about 50 different subreddits, from the NFL, NBA, video games, askmen, etc. The strip club related ones are just r/stripclubs, r/stripper, and r/strippers. Those 3 subreddits IMO are more entertaining then what TUSCL is now. Which is why I cross post some of the topics from there over to here to see how the OG strip club mongers feel about some of the topics.

When I first joined TUSCL I didn’t know about StripperWeb – I actually didn’t club as much b/f joining TUSCL and didn’t really look for SC info online – I think I tried looking at reviews on TUSCL b/f I joined but couldn’t b/c I didn’t have VIP – I didn’t look into it much w.r.t. getting VIP and figured one had to pay and just didn’t bother w/ it at the time.
Anyway – post-joining-TUSCL is when I learned about StripperWeb via some TUSCL discussions – I started reading a bit on StripperWeb and at first was kinda intrigued to read dancers’ POV – but w/ time I just realized a lot of stuff on there was either crazy-shit or delusional and thus I haven’t read it in a long time and thus haven’t really bothered reading any other online SC-forum other than TUSCL.
I hadn’t read any of the stripper reddit stuff – just now looked at the reddit-thread in the OP – it's similar to SW stuff but at least it seems the reddit-forum allows for more dissenting-opinions from dancers whereas on SW it seemed pretty-heavily-policed and a dancer with a dissenting opinion seemed to often get ganged-on.
Some of the girls posting on reddit are honest; but many are delusional; but what’s new – they claim our accounts of what goes on in clubs is not true or greatly exaggerated – one thing is to disagree; another thing is to just not accept reality – one can assume a good # of these dancers perhaps have only danced in clubs with low-mileage and thus it likely doesn’t fit in their head what it’s possible in certain clubs in certain areas/cities – and some of them likely can only deal with the truth by calling it a lie (they likely vote Democrat 😛).
I haven’t read many dancer-forums; but to me they seem to often keep it a lot less-real than custies on TUSCL – a fair # of us on-here have likely been clubbing as long as some of those dancers have been alive; and sometimes longer – but it is what it is – dancers and custies will usually see clubbing from different POVs often 180-degrees apart.
The only thing I can agree w/ is that TUSCL is not as great-a-resource w.r.t. urban-clubs since most TUSCLers don't hit those types of clubs even-less-so the party-type make-it-rain urban-clubs.
