The best you can do is find a way for both parties to get tested regularly and try to stick to one-chick but even that is not necessarily 100% foolproof but then again nothing is 100%-foolproof.
If you happen to live in an area where there is a porn-studio(s) then decent chance there is some clinic there to provide services to those studios and I assume you'd be able to get tested regularly; but I have no idea of the cost - AFAIK the free-places make you wait about 3-months b/w tests (FreeStdCheck.org)

But, there's also plenty of STI's that have an incubation period during which they are still transmissible.
