I had been seeing my fave for a while to the point that she got into my head (I know stupid)(I posted about it on here). So for her birthday I bought her gold hoop earrings. I think they were about $250. The next year I got her a thin gold chain bracelet that I think was about$175. Not long after that she blocked me on whatsapp and linkedin. Really not sure why bit it was definitely for the best. She quit dancing for a couple years then I ran into her at Cheerleaders Bristol and she was definitely distant. Just time to move on. As I said, definitely for the best.

All my serious gifts are in cash. Only for OTC favs. $100 for birthday or Xmas. A few hundred when they're preggers and I have to stop seeing them cause they're showing too much. I gave a few grand to my fav who found out she was pregnant with her son when the bd put her in the hospital. (Meeting her son greatly contributed to me totally simping out.) I buy them inexpensive purses and hats and such, and toys for their kids. So no great loss if they don't really like/want it. Not recently, but yes, I've done it. Specifically Christmas gifts for a few dancers who I was also seeing OTC for some period of time leading up to the holiday. . Tbh I view it the way I look at Christmas gifts for anyone who has been providing me with helpful personal services. This includes my house cleaners, who have been with me for years, and the guy who delivers my water every month in a way that I requested to make things easier for me. . For two of the dancers it was Sephora gift cards - hard to go wrong with that. For the 3rd I split the gift into two gift cards to chain restaurants that she told me her kids enjoyed.

I know you already know this, but don't underestimate a woman's ability to spend hours in a single lingerie store, continuing to try on and compare various choices LONG after you've run out of energy...lol At least twice I've found myself hanging out with dancers while they tries on lingerie, and both times were a little exhausting. After a while, I'd be happy if she wore granny panties or men's briefs if she'd just pick something the hell out and let's GO already! 😂

I've done it a few times, on birthdays and Christmas. One dancer I especially liked -- she was easily the brightest, sanest part of my day any time I saw her -- was really enjoyed mermaids. One Christmas I bought her a small music box with cherubic mermaids on it.
