We have to stop supporting these platforms if we want stripclubs to survive..period..I don't understand why men support these platforms..I get more out of an air dance in Atlanta than I do a freaking nude pic or some girl masturbating on cam. Just the other day I tried to connect with a dancer for the first time, we are snapchat friends..Tuesday evening to be exact..I assured her it would be worth her wild to come to work...chick got like 3 freaking kids so I assumed it was a shoe in but noooooooo...she says I'm to lazy to come in today...here is a link to my freaking snap premium you can pay for for 25 bucks a month...wow...of course I didn't buy that shit premium, but who else feels the way I do, that we should stop supporting these platforms to help push girls back to the clubs. I feel overtime these platforms will cause great harm to the stripclub industry... OMG I miss Follies!!!!

I already don't use those platforms. That said, I'm not sure that your post here will do a lot to influence global market forces...

Well if I could post photos of myself in my underwear, make money and not have to go to work I’d do it too. There have been a few strippers in the past year that have posted OnlyFans pages (including ones that posted here) that I joined for um research, lol actually I felt guilty because I knew they weren’t working. Anyway every one I joined (I think 3 total) were lazy as shit, never posted any content, and one specifically always posted excuses on why she couldn’t post content which made it even more annoying. 3 memberships, I think I was out of $20 total. Never renewed, would have if they actually put some effort in. My point is I don’t think the majority of them are supplementing their stripper income from OnlyFans so you don’t have much to worry about. The discussion has come up here in the past as well as strippers quitting and becoming sugar babies, there’s always going to be another gig somewhere strippers look for so they don’t have to go into the club.

It’s a free market. Make a decision for yourself and expect dancers to do the same.

I'll also point out that the PLs here aren't exclusive to strip clubs. There are PLs who subscribe to several OnlyFans *and* go to strip clubs *and* use sugaring websites. We might only think about one thing, but that doesn't mean we're aren't versatile.

While we’re on the subject would any of you guys pay $20 a month to see photos of me in my underwear? Maybe on a white furry rug? If you’re reading this Juice 🧃 I may need you to take some photos of me tonight…

Just as I was about to say shailynn made a good point he had to bring the jokes. Not every stripper is going to go online because a lot of them don't want their face and photos all over the Internet. They like the money, but don't want it to follow them when they've moved on. And that's beside the point of it's actual work to maintain the online presence and keep the subscribers coming back.

If strip clubs disappear, I would just find something else to do.

I’m a subscriber. It’s a minor part of my fun but it fills a niche and is worth a few bucks. And it seems to fill a niche for a lot of people. Just as in a club, some gals are well worth it. Others are not. As for strip clubs survival in the era of online content, the market will sort that out, despite my personal preferences or those of any other individual.

I’ve never subscribed to only fans. When strippers post there, do they disclose what club they work at or do they keep that secret and separate from their only fans business ?

Rumor is OnlyFans is going to prohibit adult content and try to go mainstream. I doubt they'll kill the porn cash cow but that's the rumor.

Face it - not everyone has the “freedom,” access or means to visit a strip club, and sadly viewing womens personal sites online is their alternative for a more personal experience that regular porn. Is that any different than me not owning a Ferrari but racing one with a virtual video game or an elaborate racing wheel, floor pedals and a high end screen? Not exactly the experience we all would want but you take what you can get.

    > Rumor is OnlyFans is going to prohibit adult content and try to go mainstream. This would make no sense. There already are big platforms like Patreon for this. The image of onlyfans is all based on porn, so it isn't like it would then attract hollywood A-listers that make money from instagram ads etc already. It's already living the dream and printing the founders money. They don't have to spend on marketing and are already the biggest name in what they do.

A couple of months ago I met a white chick at Club Platinum in Atlanta. She was the only white chick and my type. She gave me several high mileage dances and said more was available in VIP. I was out of time and money but told her I would be up for it next time. She gave me her number and and said to check with her because she might be going out of town for the holiday weekend. I waited 3 days to give her time to decide what she was going to do and then sent her a text asking what her plans were and would she text me a photo. I got a reply that simply had the link to [view link]. I deleted her number. Name available via PM for trusted members.

I think it's more about having access to DM the talent versus looking at naked pics. Can't do that on pornhub.

@shadowcat Why didn’t you asked her about OTC, instead of a picture? since she offered you her number...
  • shadowcat

CJ - I never do OTC with a stripper before doing a test drive in VIP and further, in my home town, I only do OTC at my house. That requires some trust first.

i'm not sure why the op thinks that the majority of strip club goers are patrons of snapchat and onlyfans. most of the club goers that i know of don't pay even bother to check those sites for content, whether paid or free. i would guess that the percentage of stripclub goers that check those sites has got to be way less than 50%. i would also guess out of all the guys that do check out those sites less than 50% don't go to strip clubs at all.

You absolutely should be boring w/your pocketbook. If you offered more $$, I’m sure she would have found a way to meet up.

Before OnlyFans there were Cam sites. Not sure how relevant they are today but 10 years ago I knew a single mom stripper with no help raising her 2 teenage kids. She started camming on the side of stripping and eventually she quit stripping all together. At the time she was making double camming what she did stripping, plus she could do it staying at home instead of of driving, bussing, or flying to her “home club” which was actually not even in the same state she lived in. Who can blame her for going that route?

If a guy is a girls customer rather than a club customer than odds are he subscribes to her paid sites.

    > I think it's more about having access to DM the talent versus looking at naked pics. Can't do that on pornhub. Absolutely. For many of the content creators, the subscriptions are only part of the story. Making custom videos, interacting with members over DM (and then maybe paying for live skype conversations/shows) are where they find whales that will tip huge. I've heard mention of the insanely high earning girls on OF sometimes contract out people to manage their DMs/conversations and then they just show up to do photoshoots and make videos for the customs. Even less time/effort and they still get the lion's share of the revenue.

Attrition rates on of are low though. The insane amounts are far from the norm and money isn't consistent month to month.

Someone mentioned cam sites, which were the precursors for OF and other platforms. I remember commiserating with Chili Palmer years ago about the loss of some our favorite dancers to camming, and similarly predicting the negative impact those sites would bring to clubs. Girls will take the path of least resistance to $$$, so if they can generate income without being pawed by customers, for some it’s an obvious choice. I will always prefer a live, warm, soft body in my lap to anything virtual!

I think it’s common for any girl who’s decently popular to have a boyfriend or manager running her page - not to say the girls couldn’t do it themselves but it’s just clearly the best time/$$$ deal for them. So I don’t bother with DMs much and I don’t take it seriously when I do.

@shadowcat You wrote and I quote: “...sent her a text asking what her plans were and would she text me a photo.” “I got a reply that simply had the link to [view link] I think she was asking, in a not good way, for a tip or compensation for the photo you asked for. In my humble opinion, if she is “your type” and she gave you “several high mileage dances” that you seem to have enjoyed... If you could afford it, you probably could/should have asked her to meet you at your hotel bar or restaurant to make sure you and her can trust each other, instead of asking “what her plans were”. Like they said: “Nothing ventured, nothing gained” A sexual/romantic/business pursuit often require to “risk” one of two situations: 1. pursuing when interest is not reciprocated (resulting in rejection) 2. failing to pursue when interest is-may be reciprocated (resulting in a missed opportunity). I think If a girl is my type, I would like to to think I would try to get her to do OTC, in a nice, clean hotel room... Because I am on quest for my Holy Grail; OTC with a DS with GFE and PSE, with NSA that we both walk away happy, believing it was a Good Deal, Fair Trade and a Win Win experience. That is my opinion, of course, you know the situation better than anybody. Thank you for responding to my comment with more information. Be careful out there.

COWBOY Ghost train haze is what successful males smoke and quite frankly it seems like another 30 years will pass by before you can afford it. Assuming that you still identify as male, which was assigned to you at birth, in some kind of record keeping fuck up.

Clubs and cam sites both had the same heydays in 2000-2008. They are sitting in the same pool of water and their fortunes rise and fall with the same economic tides. Onlyfans is a joke now that clubs are back open. It was a great gimmick when guys wanted to see their favorite dancers, but from what I've heard from strippers who went on it, almost nobody made any real money. It's stuck in the middle, less interactive than a cam site and less personal than a club interaction. It's also a PITA to keep fresh content flowing from what I was told and guys get bored quickly with seeing the same girl over and over.

Unless I’m missing something, strip clubs aren’t going anywhere. If anything they’re getting bigger - at least here in miami. I actually wish they wouldn’t because the atmosphere is changing. Some of my favorite clubs have become more party clubs. Even the ones that were dark rooms with absurdly high mileage (let your imagination run wild) have transformed into party clubs. Now at days there only a few left that are still dives in the afternoons. Covid killed the daytime hours. Most only open around 5 now and it’s only that afternoon shift that offers good mileage. Why would a stripper sweat for $25 in a lap dance when she can go to the thug at the table next to you and have him drop $50 in singles in the same amount of time? But it’s simple supply and demand. Miami has exploded over the last decade so there’s more party clubs. But there’s still a lot of degenerates about there looking for dives. So I’m sure a balance will be struck and both will coexist. Same with only fans. There’s a ton of people that are scared of clubs for whatever the reason. They pay for pics. Me I’m not interested in that so I hit the club. Besides the drug dealers need to keep them open to wash their money right?

My favorite sex work TikToker at the moment, used to dance, but mostly does online spicy content now. If I recall correctly, it’s easier to go out to free campsites with BLM land and film content as long as she’s far away enough from people not to be visible, without having to deal with the expenses of renting out places closer to civilization where strip clubs actually are. And also, not dealing with having to drink alcohol as much. I think she has a good thing going. Her lifestyle is super nomadic, which won’t be for everyone. Here is her Instagram [view link]

because a lot of men are broke but if men throw enough pennies into the well, the well will collect a dollar. So both broke men and women win.

    @nicespice WTF is "BLM land"
  • nicespice
Estafador BLM land is land owned by the Bureau of Land Management. It’s mostly in the western part of the United States. [view link] It’s well-known among vandwellers and similar because if you’re on public land, most areas will allow you to camp out there for no charge. Their main rules is that after two weeks you have to move on at least a mile away. @scrubby somebody posting about what they do is not the same as putting their content up. The user uses another platform for that. I’m with you about complaining about the heavy handed censorship, but it’s not like American run companies are much better…
