What are songs you hear in the strip club that you don't like but are catchy enough to stick in your mind?

Back in the 90's there was some song, the chorus line of which was "Stroking!". But clearly it got played a lot. At least where I was in TX.

I think I know which song you're talking about. Something about stroking to the East, stroking to the West, right? One more song to purge now. Thanks for that...

Sgtsnowman, you are talking about Strokin' by Clarence Carter. It was from the 80's.

That was from the 80's? Wonder why it's not getting played everywhere we go like all the other 80's music now. Oh wait...

Anyhow, the song I had stuck in my head before that was Taste by Tyga. Here's a link to curse you with the track. https://youtu.be/LjxulQ1bEWg

🎶the beautiful people the beautiful people
AAAAAHHHHHHH
🎶

Especially not too fond of the “Capitalism has made it this way/
Old-fashioned fascism will take it away” line ...imo too much of a downer and not the message I want sent out to customers. 😅

I’m other words what does my PTSD sound like? You know I couldn’t tell you who is singing some of these songs but if they were to play again I could let you know I just don’t feel like sewarching YouTube for shitty music right now. One thing if you hate Drake or Cardi B you might have a rough time at some of these spots.

I don't remember hearing Strokin' by Clarence Carter in the clubs I went to in the 1980's, but The Stroke by Billy Squire was in heavy rotation.

Every time I hear "Blue (ba da bee)" by Eiffel 65, it's stuck in my head for a couple of days.

But I've never heard it in a strip club.

Taste by Tyga, like Wallanon said. Mainly for the voice that hums in the background throughout most of the track.

Link by Jim Yosef. I suppose it's a stretch because it's a fashion show tune, but I heard it on TUSCL while watching hot chicks strut around in skimpy outfits so close enough. Thanks SanchoRG.

These two for sure. They are played now virtually every night I go into any club anywhere:

Hanging By A Moment - Lifehouse
Diamonds - Rihanna

Also an honorable mention to the song that triggers a Pavlovian response in me to look towards the stage in any club I'm in to see if they're doing a cattle call:

Girls, Girls, Girls - Motley Crew

Also an honorable mention to:

I'm in love with a stripper - T-pain

I hear this song almost every time I club as well and sometimes it pops in my head when I'm on this board reading about some guy getting worked up over a stripper.

None. Usually stripper music goes in one ear and out the other. One exception. At The Club in MA there was as stripper who danced to some really good soul music. Sometimes I'd look it up later at home.

I don’t listen to the radio or streaming service much. So the first dozen times or more I heard “She Wolf” was in the SC. I ended up liking it enough to purchase & download it to my iTunes playlist.
