I wouldn't criticize unless you can offer a better alternative.

This is the third time you've quoted me and taken it out of context and/or left out important qualifiers that were in my original statement.
The OP disingenuous and constantly trying to create conflict, GTFOH

“I’ve always said that Insurance Companies are the most dishonest, unethical businesses ever.
No other business sells you a service than refuses to provide what you’ve paid and contracted for, as their business model.”
“they write contracts and as soon as a claim is made the get their in house attorney teams to rewrite and add waivers
I believe that the entire legal system of torts is financed by the insurance industry yet you can’t get access to reasonable legal representation unless there’s a potential for huge payoff”

It never ceases to amaze me at how people with absolutely not one bit of knowledge on a subject can ignorantly expound on it. As someone, and maybe the only one here who has ever actually tried a civil lawsuit before a jury, after failing to settle with an insurance company, I know that the tort system is a scumbag system created by trial lawyers, who almost 80% of the time identify as Democratic party members (its about 95% here). Insurance companies don't actually make money on premiums, they make their profit investing the money they get from premiums. Really not much different than how a payroll company worked when interest rates were higher. People with real claims can always get legal representation, so that claim is just a lie. the people who can't are the ones who fake it, cannot ever work again for an injury that for most of us wouldn't prevent us from going out on the day it occurred. Leave it to a Democrat to side with the cheats and liars.

Actually skibum insurance companies exist as welfare for attorneys who otherwise would have no way to make a living
If you know so much about the industry you’d be aware that both the plaintiffs and defendants attorneys are expecting to be paid by the same party
Tell us how would a lawyer make a living if the insurance industry had to face a regulatory body with teeth

Plaintiff's lawyer's receive a share of the settlement of judgment paid, so they are paid by their client. Its ok to be wrong all the time, it makes you a Democrat. Insurance is highly regulated in my state, but having seen lawyer ads in Florida I will excuse your ignorance. Simple fact is that without attorneys people could buy a defective car and be able to sue no one. 1916 macpherson v. Buick motor co. We make a positive difference for people, unlike you. With a great 4 day weekend approaching you can join Breh and Icey in ignore so have a great Labor day weekend.

@IceyLoco - what do you think of check cashing companies?
  • Icey

Check cashing companies prey on poor people. As do pawn shops.

How much money do they take out of your check?

Pay day loans are scams as well.

The problem is twofold. Wages are too low considering the cost of living and people lack the knowledge to avoid these scams. And then theres desperation

I don't use them. But is calling me poor meant to be an insult?
  • winex

It's not just the poor who use them, stupid people do as well. So I just naturally assumed that you use them.

No, that's not the cause of your stupidity. I's a symptom of your stupidity.
  • Icey

Your inability to fathom reality is the problem here. Calling me stupid is a defense mechanism

Sure Icey - why don't you tell me more about why you "think" 401k's are a scam?
  • Icey

Coz gambling on the stock is not a viable pension plan.

Why are you so out of touch with reality nerd fag?

Insurance companies work off of the law of large numbers. They aren’t a scam, but they can seem like one at times.

I avoid them as much as possible. Savings works well for me.
