Viagra (revisited)

Older than dirt
I saw a urologist yesterday. This was my first visit with a doctor whose name I couldn’t pronounce. He’s one of about 85 doctors in a large practice so he was just reviewing my medications and asked me if Viagra was working okay for me. I told him when I used Pfizer made from the local pharmacy they were fine. I’ve been buying them from India and have been let down a couple of times recently.
About 7:00 pm he called me, reviewed a new scrip he wrote and told me all my bloodwork was fine.
Then he said when I see you in 4 weeks remind me and I’ll give you a prescription for generic tildenafil and they’re $30.00 for twenty four 100 mg. tablets.
Anyone else know that domestic generic Viagra was available?

I think you meant generic sildenafil. I'd like to know the name of the pharmacy that is selling them. GoodRX claims that my Kroger pharmacy sells 30 tablets for $19.87 with a coupon but Kroger tells me no fucking way. I do know of 1 independent pharmacy that was selling them for $6 a piece a year ago. Not sure if that is still their price.

Viagra want off patent, so generic sildenal should be widely available for much cheaper soon.

“Went off” patent, not “want off.”

There are tons of companies advertising generic cialis and viagra where you buy online and its all through the mail, blue chew, roman, hims. I have never trued it or needed it but seems easily accesible and a lot cheaper now for guys who need it.

It's Sildenafil. Normally available in 20 mg tablets. Primarily used for pulmonary hypertension. Sam's Club pharmacy sells them $10 for 30 on their generic medication list if you are a Plus Member ($100). Prescription must be in quantities of 30.

My family doctor refused to prescribe any ED meds because I once used nitroglycerin for chest pains. I told my cardiologist I was smart enough to not use both at the same time so he said ok.

If you take 5 it's the equivalent of one 100 mg Viagra.

No joke here, has anyone ever looked into the idea of using something like Yoga, to get the same effect as what Vitamin V does?

I’ve used both lemon aid health and Roman health to get online generic viagra prescriptions. Both were online only - no in person visit. Lemon aid required a video call and Roman was all email only.

Lemon aid wrote me a prescription for 30 x 20mg sidenafil tabs, refillable 10 times. Roman wrote me a prescription for 90 x 20mg, refillable 4 times.

I refilled my lemon aid health prescription 10 different times at probably 7 different Walmarts thru the country. No issues whatsoever filling a prescription for sidenafil there.

Also Roman and lemonaid health try to get u to buy from the directly at like 4-5x goodrx prices. You have to dig deep on those sites to only get the prescription without ordering pills from them. They hide it, but I’ve done it with both. Got my prescription and went to Walmart same day.

One last piece of advice if you’re getting an online prescription:

You gotta kind of fudge the survey.

Yes, you have no problems masturbating
Yes your blood pressure is normal
    No you aren’t cripplingly depressed
Yes you have ED because of a new relationship
Yes, you exercise 1-2x a week

Etc etc just use common sense

Goodrx is pretty great. $2.00 insurance per fuck is a great deal IMO, especially if you’re paying much more for OTC

doctorevile - Do you have a source for that. My understanding is that Pfizer's patent does not expire until 4/2020. They did give TEVA authority to produce a generic in exchange for payment to Pfizer.

Sildenafil is available as generic 20 mg tabs. It will cost you approximately $50 for 150 tabs, depending on your insurance. Just have your physician prescribe sildenafil 20 mg tabs, take 5 once daily PRN sex. Get it filled. Then, experiment with just how many you need to take to get Willy to respond. 20, 40, 60, 80, 100. Don’t take more than 100 mg at a time unless you enjoy blue vision, diarrhea and gastric reflux. The 20 mg generic is for treatment of pulmonary hypertension, but physician can prescribe it “off label” for ED.

as much as I enjoy the buzz of alcohol... usually doesn’t work very well for me for sex even with Viagra. so I’m trying to cut back on the booze.

Shadow: I see two physicians on a regular basis and one of them told me that it was already off patent.

Shadow: Just Googled it. Looks like you’re right. The patent spends expire until 4/2020. Maybe my doctor was referring to the TEVA deal.

I have found that doctors know very little about drug prices. After a recent out patient medical procedure the doctor gave me an RX to use. The nurse at the hospital and my pharmacist both told me the same drug was available over the counter by the same manufacturer under a different name for a fraction of the RX price.

Or maybe they do know. They may be getting “incentives” for drug manufacturers to prescribe name brand drugs.

If I got it right, sidenafil to treat pulmonary hypertension is not patented but using the same exact pill to treat ED is patented. Patent law is weird

    OMG - so much misinformation.

    Here's the GoodRx/Kroger pricing:

Here's the Sam's Club price list (scroll down alphabetical list to Sildenafil):

I just spoke with the chief pharmacist at my local Kroger and he confirmed that the GoodRX coupon for 30 tablets of 100mg sildenafil for $21.37 is pretty close. The actual price does fluctuate. And you don't need a new coupon for refills but should get a new coupon every 6 months as prices do change.

Last 100mg prescription I got was from Walmart, and I think it worked out to 2 or 3 dollars per pill, after insurance.

I'd suggested before that even normal declination in capacity is mostly psychological. Either that or diabetes, and this might be controlled by diet.

I'd suggested sexual yoga, which is basically what tantra is.

I would still stand with the above.

But this sound treatment still looks like something to learn about.

Here, this is similar to what I saw in the newspaper.
