Oh no, but I had seen a post about this before.

Anyone know if it will reopen?

These legal efforts to permanently close and evict a strip club, they are always based on non-evidence.

Same applies now to doings in Detroit.

Q: Can you go to the Can Can Room anymore?

POS place. Here is my one experience there, probably 12 +/- years ago.

Walked in. Front is like a porn store. Entry was $5 or $10, no alcohol license. To combat the no alcohol license there were two kegs by the cashier, a regular and a lite beer. The cashier, manager, bouncer and one dancer were all standing around it drinking out of red cups. They gave me a red cup. They also didn’t operate in cash and had some wacky system where you bought fake money, obviously as a way to hustle customers and track dancer earnings. I can’t remember but it was like $100 for $60 worth of ‘bucks’ or something like that. Club was in nice shape with focal point a huge oval. No other custies, nomdancers. When I sat at the stage they started bringing out dancers. It was awkward AF. Based on the dancers who were surprisingly attractive, In three minutes I figured that this was a front for outcall to the casinos. Meaning, the girls were too hot to work in a club with zero customers as these were solid 6-8s that could’ve easily made $300-500 not even trying at other clubs. After three dancers I said fuck it and because I thought it was a front, agreed to go straight to VIP especially when told the VIP rooms had beds. Don’t remember anything out of the ordinary for VIP costs, the VIP was a cash deal, maybe $200-240 for half hour which was in line with other clubs. Got to the VIP, laid on the bed, girl just grinded. No touching, it sucked. I didn’t press and kept my hands off as the vibe was weird. As time was up the weirdest thing was that the manager and bouncer came running over asking the girl ‘are you ok? Did he do anything to upset you? Are you ok?’ It was almost like these red beer cup drinking fools were trying to find an excuse to beat my ass and physically throw me out of the club out of pure boredom and longing for excitement. I paid in full, tipped because these dumbasses made it very uncomfortable, and obviously never returned. Again, I do believe these girls were escorts running to the casinos as in my shirt 90 minute visit there Incounted well over 10 girls, and during that time I was the only customer. Either that or they had some good drugs in the back for these ladies. Glad it’s closed.

The funny thing is that the group that’s buying it making these claims operates known motels for quickies and operates the Artisan, which was infamous for being a place you took dancers to. The Artisan is a boutique hotel, actually with a really nice interior and a great bar. It is across from Mayweathers club which I have no idea if it’s still open but before that was Sheris Caberet, with relation to Sheri’s brothel located in Pahrump, so getting OTC and walking across the street for a room was cake, so I’ve heard...

SJG, are you hoping to go one day? Maybe you have already been?

IDK if the closure was recent but that club has not been reviewed on TUSCL in 2+years and the reviews that exist are not good - I guess they stayed in business thru their shady-practices

That doesn't surprise me Papi, I never had any inclination to go there on any of my previous five trips to Vegas.

It was basically a clip joint. However legit bookers did work there at times

The place was always at the bottom of the TUSCL ratings because it was a ROB.
Good that it is closed, it gave LV clubs a bad name.
And the poor taxi drivers are out of income, because they got paid off for bringing customers there.

my one visit eight years ago was part of my learning curve.

I visited on a Friday or Saturday night and there were only 2 girls there. It was a $40 entrance fee. It was weird because the old lady there and the black DJ were the ones trying to get me to buy dances from the girls rather than the girls themselves trying to hustle me.
