Mueller Investigation

flagooner
Everything written by this member is a fact.
I have tried to tune out this everlasting witch hunt that makes our country look so petty so forgive me if I'm not up on the particulars. I know there have been arrests, but would there have been any crimes committed if this thing was never started in the first place? For instance, if this witch hunt was never initiated there would have been no interrogations in which people could lie.

Just wondering?

And if so, were any of those crimes anywhere near as serious as those committed by the opposition party and investigating organization that have just been swept under the carpet?

Just wondering?

Anybody know?

I'll assume that you really want to know. You can find out all about the on-going crimes of the Trump campaign in reputable news organizations such as the New York Times or the Washington Post. For example, here is a recent New York Times article on the Russian contacts of the Trump campaign:

    https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2019…

Here's another article on the host of charges and convictions:

    https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/23/us/po…

I really try to avoid political threads on TUSCL. I don't think anyone's beliefs are changed through political arguments that quickly devolve into shouting and insults. But it you really want to learn, I'm giving you some sources.

Pretty sure either Kushner or Donnie Jr. will end up taking a fall. Collusion clearly happened. Don was just smart enough not to directly get his own hands dirty. But his campaign messed up bad.

At lot of attorneys have said "collusion" is not a crime. I think they would have to find a something else to use for their "crime".

It's mostly politics - when the Dems do something, there ins't an outcry from the mostly liberal-media - the difference w/ Trump is that he and many of the people he surrounded himself with are not experienced politicians that know how to play dirty and not get caught - plus Trump is often his worst enemy by often not listening to the few experienced people around him (maybe he's used to surrounding himself w/ yes men/women) - the Dems would have probably done the same-thing if they had the chance, they just would have been sleeker about-it given them being more-experienced at the political-game than what Trump was running - it's not as if the Dems are self-righteous choir boys.

But - it's disconcerting the trail of bodies Trump has left in his wake - a big-part of it is probably due to him being so confrontational and making so many enemies - and surrounding himself w/ questionable characters.

Trump will probably be the first US President who serves prison time. They say that no he only stays in office because he knows that once he is out, he will be arrested.

I'm not against acoustic guitar, its just that I like electric guitar music so much. And electric guitar can do things which acoustic guitar cannot. Needs to feel like you are there with them, not like it is just a contrived television show. Letting this finally be the psychedelia it was intended to be.

We're down to ticky tacky crap now like obstruction charges and purportedly lying to the FBI. This stopped being about collusion a very long time ago and has boiled down to a serious misuse of our justice system for political payback. It will all be over soon and we should no doubt expect a report heavy on hyperbole and innuendo, but absent and solid evidence of wrongdoing.

Speaking about fact based news and what they report is in the “eye of the beholder”, the truth is that every president has faced criticism, yet this presidency has factually had more negative news reported about him (Trump) than any other by a huge number! If that’s not liberal media bias at work, I don’t know what is.

Every time you turn on MSNBC or CNN, they orgasm in delight to report any negative spin on this current administration. The left is addicted to drama, and loves to play victims advocate even when the president is trying to help out for the overall good.

Do yourself a favor and skip watching the national news.

    Meat,

Bottom line, many if not most on the left think and make decisions based on their emotions. In President Trump's case, their emotion is hate. Those on the right tend to use logic in their decisions, ergo a positive view of President for all the good things happening in this country, especially the economy.
Of course the left will read this a act emotionally. It's just what they do.

Now those pesky Russians are altering Mueller's "evidence". This whole thing has turned into a complete joke and waste of taxpayer money. 66 year old Stone had more people sent to his house then were ised to kill Osama Bin Laden. Clubber,

I totally agree with you when you say the left uses their emotions to make decisions, hence the hatred. The right tries to use logic, and possibly rationalizes his stupidity (me included) even though I’m an independent voter. I’m just happy he is shaking up the status quo and pissing off thise lofetime politicians by trying out some logic on them.

Not saying that many liberals aren’t delusional, but this presidency is a disaster.
  • JamesSD

I actually think the right reacts emotionally. There have been some good studies that conservatives feel disgust a lot stronger than liberals. Usually liberals care about fairness a lot more than conservatives too. Anger is kind of a right wing automatic response to anything challenging.

The FAR left can be a bit weepy, especially extreme feminism. But these are the people who wonder if Kamala Harris and Corey Booker are too conservative.

Honestly, which party is anti science?

LIberals care about fairness if it benefits them, if you don't think like them you are literally Hitler. So fuck off with that, they say it it's a slogan but its not remotely true.

Mueller has proven he will do whatever he has to do to make arrests whether legal or not. He did let 4 innocent men die in prison who he framed.

Honestly at this point it seems like he has nothing, if he did they would have come forward with something by now. How long can this investigation go, how many people can he intimidate and coerce while fishing for whatever he can find. If you like Trump or Hate Trump, or fall in the middle where I do. I don't like a lot of what he does but compared to the alternatives he is much better, and Democrats have been throwing a tantrum for years now about this. This investigation needs to wrap soon.

@Clubber I got the point just fine you think that anyone who disagrees with you regarding Trump, is emotional, that’s ridiculous and you should know better, there’s no lack of emotional behavior from the right wingers. Only completely bubble wrapped individuals are unaware of all the hypocrisy stemming from their side, whether it is left or right, I’m a centrist and remember another centrist making a speech where he said “Mr Gorbachev, tear down that wall” and prior to him another centrist ordered an airlift to supply Berlin. So you see your guy is a nativist and there are better, and smarter solutions to get a handle on immigration than his crappy political gamesmanship.
OTH if you like get the Mexicans to pay for it but, don’t shut down the government, he’s a moron, for trying to get the other side to go along with his ridiculous unfunded, campaign promises, it ain’t gonna fly. That’s not liberal or conservative, that’s just plain common sense.
I actually believe we need a rule that prevents either side from shutting down the government, that’s really the equivalent of a kid taking his ball and going home so the others can’t play, but in this case the ball (our government) aint his, it’s ours, and it doesn’t belong to him or them, it belongs to us, let those fuckers do their fucking job, or get rid of them.
BTW like it or not their job is compromise, not blindly adhere to one ideology or another.

As I understand the investigation. They are looking for evidence of Trump conspiring with Russia, and are interested in his knowledge of hacked emails and their dissemination. They arrest long time friend/associate Stone for lying about his involvement with the hacked emails and their source (WikiLeaks).

So, if Trump did have anything to do with Russia and the emails, why would Stone need to be associating with WikiLeaks?

This is not the first time he's dipped into that "things are so bad we're ordering fast food" well. He pulled a similar publicity stunt in the 90s when he publicized that he ordered McDonalds for a board meeting during one of his bankruptcies, to demonstrate of course just how frugal he was being. I am a Trump supporter for policy reasons, but I don't always appreciate the showmanship and I thought it was gimmicky both way back then and when Clemson came by.

Funniest thing is the players loved it.

"Everyone is hating on Donald Trump serving us Fast food at the White House but we enjoyed it," Renfrow tweeted. "We don’t get to eat fast food that often and to have a buffet of it in the White House?!? Nobody else can say they’ve experienced that. It was a blessing, keep doing you Trump."

A few were saying they only get to really eat the food that is provided them under scholarships at the residence halls and never really get to go out to eat so they liked it. I mean they are college kids. I don't think they usually even have a meal at these events. Fake news is gonna blow everything out of proportion every time. Orange Man Bad!
