Local Dancers on Social Media

I was just asked if I would like to be invited to join a private FB group of local dancers and their favorite customers. Apparently there are already 287 members. It is a closed group, but I saw a number of the female members through the Friends list of the dancer who discussed this with me. I came across a half dozen FB profiles of girls who I've had OTC relations with over the years, complete with pics of their kids, SOs, etc. I'm sure there are more who are part of this group. I should add that not all of these OTC relationships ended well.

A FUCK to the NO for that. I maintain a generic FB account that I use for hobby purposes as one cannot do certain things on FB without one, but I have never friended anyone or even let a dancer know that it exists. The last thing I need is to get on the radar of a large group of local dancers. This is a small city filled primarily with small clubs and the girls talk enough among themselves as it is.

Is there anyone here who would welcome that kind of participation on FB?

I also have a FB account that is air-gapped from the rest of my digital life.

I would not join a group like that. Not a chance.

If you are using a fake account then probably not an issue and might be interesting to see what they talk about - although it seems dancers and PLs are rarely on the same-footing so not sure how useful it would be, but it could lead to meeting some dancers you o/w may not have met .

But if it requires using some kinda real account then no for me.

Papi, the problem is that eventually some of them would start connecting my face to that generic account if I was posting with the group. The city I club in regularly has a much smaller stripper community than a place like Miami. From there, it would open the door for comments from girls who I did not do well with and could lead to poisoning the well.

For example, one of the girls in question sucked OTC. Things ended badly with her trashed at the bar during my next visit and begging me for another chance. She made such a scene that the manager eventually tossed her out. Things also ended badly with another one of the 6 girls that I know who are part of the group. The last thing I need is to trigger a shit fest that could spill over into my ITC and OTC activities.

There are lots of groups like that, its not a big deal. Maybe if you're so ashamed of trolling strip clubs for hookers, you shouldn't be doing it in the first place.

Idk whether facebook’s issues have been fixed or not but I still wouldn’t trust it.

That being said, I am part of a couple of dancer groups.

Past issues with even having multiple profiles on Facebook. (Which btw if you ever get reported, FB will delete your profile if you misrepreeent yourself)

This thread reminds me of the episode of Two and a Half Men where Charlie finds a website dedicated to trashing him by the women he’s used over the years lolol you guys really need to get a grip.

I would do it in a heartbeat. I have, as ish describes, an "air gapped" FB account strictly for SCing. No pics of my face on it (although there have been in the past). I'd be curious what they talk about on the group, I'd raid the membership list for pretty dancers I might want to hook up with at some other time or club, etc.

Ehhhhh no I’m not doing that. Maybe if I’m not local though I would do it. Take the good with the bad

Sub, I'd be tempted too if I clubbed in a big market like yours, but the club community is just too small here and I've been very active in it. At two of the clubs I frequent, I've been a topic of conversation in the DR more than a few times already if unsolicited dancer reports are true. The clubs are small here, made even smaller by the longevity of many dancers and th fact that they tend to stick to one side of town or the other to work.

No man, I’m staying private. Too many people who’ve hit nothing to lose compared to me.

Even in s big metro dayshift can be a small world.

Honestly that group sounds like a ticking drama bomb in general.

If you're so proud of buying hookers and brag about it so much, don't you want everyone to know??? You claim there's nothing wrong with it so you should really own up to it!

I can see the potential for drama that involves you, I suppose, but it feels like, if you keep your head down, it's worth the risk to get all that g-2. Although, and here rick and I diverge completely, I can dig listening to (or reading about) stripper drama, as long as that drama doesn't involve me. It's a fun diversion; maybe it's what I do instead of watching the soaps.

With the amount of money you say you spend, I don't see how a stripper's negative perception of you could be all that harmful. If you are a good PL who spends a lot, I'd think that you're more likely to have girls talk to you up to their friends.

Based on how positive your posts are re what you are already doing, why risk it? If things sucked for you then consider it.

@Jimmy: Exactly that. There's little upside and much potential downside in wading into that mess.

@Sub: I enjoy interacting with strippers to a degree or else I wouldn't spend so much time with them ITC. But as we both know, their personalities change once we take them OTC, as does the tone of the conversations. As much as I like getting to know these girls, there is a limit to how much of it I want to hear. My cup overfloweth already with female drama. If I was single without kids, maybe I'd have more capacity, but there it is.

I think I’d be tempted, but maybe not with my “real” fake account, i.e. the one several dancers know is me. If I did, I’d probably not post much of anything all, and just watch.

The opportunity for gossip *and* G2 is simply too great for me to resist. :)

I also have a fake air gapped account just for following strippers on instagram. Initially I made the account with a pic of someone else (the pic is in partial shadow so semi-unidentifiable but clearly not me) and had the identity be an amateur photographer. Then I just uploaded some pretty free stock photos to the account. Weirdly enough the fake account has attracted a bunch of 20 something wannabe models hoping I am a photographer they can collaborate with.

I can not see the upside in joing the FB group, but I CAN see the potential downside that can definitely affect your fun activities.

That being said, for me the grwat thing about SCs is the interaction, whereas social media, while providing an almost unlimited amount of content lacks true interaction.

For example, I would rather pay the expenses of a SC or Brothel to get real FS than to watch porn for free.

i would not welcome any type of communication, on FB, email, ect...

the only communication i have with them is via text and its to meet somewhere. i have had texts where she says something like you have the "donation?" i then play it off and say she has the wrong number. i personally think that strippers have BFs that sell drugs and its only a matter of time before they get popped by the police. The police are going to go through her phone and then see your texts exchanges. i believe a stripper would not have any problem throwing you under the bus.

SaltyNutz, you make it sound like they're criminals. You're a criminal too, you're hiring a prostitute. That's much more of a bitch crime than selling drugs.
